  • End of June, it’s time to get the ewes wool sheared off! And it’s a loud day working with the sheep and lambs - the lambs are having a mineral drench, wormer and fly spray to
Prevent fog strike - already had a couple of cases of it! Also discussing the weather and why we are running out of grazing!!

If I win the lottery I'm going to set up a company that uses wool exclusively from each county to knit county cricket jumpers from sheep from that county to support the industry. Keep it local

I can see where a man would need a good pint and some peace and quiet after listening to sheep all day 😁

Great video, the shearers trailer looks a good work station. Got to admire his work and the way he uses his hands, legs etc to control the sheep as he shears away.

Love your videos as always, you both do a sterling job. I know you get paid a pittance for the wool when surely it could and should be used for so much more? Eg insulation, carpet, clothes, people that needle felt etc etc. shame you can’t do what Sandi Brock has done, I’m sure you’d soar in sales!!! It’s so sad when you hear farmers just burning it or using it for compost etc 😢😢. In this world of being environmentally friendly and sustainability my mind boggles why it’s so worthless 😢😢 you farmers deserve sooooo much more for your time and love of your stock. Keep up the amazing job you do both of you 😊

Well done on getting all those important sheep jobs done! I'm exhausted with just one job on 28 sheep! Nick not in shorts for the shearing! 😂

Your shearer is doing an excellent job. He’s total control of the sheep. Keeps shearing while changing positions. No second cuts and no cuts on the sheep. We done.

Another fine job done with the sheep. Just spent a lovely weekend on your wonderful campsite . Don’t think Nick will make a beekeeper though😂 I do have a short video of him covered up but with obligatory shorts. We were on pitch 3.

Hi Joanna. Flock looks great. In Newfoundland we have so manyvgreat knitters who could turn that wool into beautiful mittens and socks.
