EDIT: Just to add, every run and spawn have different RNG. Sometimes a bug breach can have 2 bile titans, other times it can have none. It took me about an hour of attempts before I got this run which has pretty good RNG. One thing I find very important in my attempts was to start the mission quickly and get to the first silo before the patrol units start spawning in since they will call for breaches if not cleared properly. After clearing each silo, either clear all the bugs like at 7:40 or get away quickly to lose aggro at 4:50. This prevents the bugs from calling additional breaches and spawns before having to deal with the next silo. It also seems like the bugs can switch their aggro onto you like at 12:55 - this could be due to a prior failure to defend which allows the aggro to be swapped. For this new major order, the goal is to activate the 3 battery silos. Activating the silo will lead to bug breaches and the silos will attract bugs. They also have "HP" values so you need to kill off the bugs as fast as you can or keep them away from the silos. Note that your own guns and explosive like the Eagle strikes or impact nades can also damage the silos. This seems to be a pretty decent setup for solo, the Tesla Tower can cover a section, while the EMS Motar helps to slow them down. The incendiary nades are also useful to cover other areas and clear the smaller bugs. I was hoping to use the EAT for chargers / titans, but things did get kinda hectic to be able to use it properly. To be honest I haven't played with the Tesla Tower a whole lot, so I messed up and got myself killed by it twice. Else we may have been able to extract successfully with 2 extra reinforcements! I'll give it some more tries when I can - in the meantime, if anyone has a better strategy, please share it in the comments! FOR LIBERTEA! Haven’t experienced this at all, once the battery starts charging the bugs only target the tower, and they start spawning from three different sides. Even with 4 people we can’t keep up and that’s on level 7 (suicide mission)😂😂.
So far I find the Tesla Tower and EMS Motar combination pretty useful. With a squad of 4 you could each cover a side and have EATS / railcannons for chargers & titans.
Literally, on impossible any time we start a battery there’s instantly 100+ little bugs and hunters on the battery destroying it while 5 bile titans are ultra aggro on us and 8 chargers run around destroying the turrets we just called in 😂😂😂

I literally just attempted my first run of the new order solo. Id never ran it even MP tbh! Damn ther e was too many bugs even on diff 4!!!! Pre-comment: curious to see how it goes for you so I can step it up. I lowered the diff for my first few times to see how it goes. Learned that turrets basically solo it on 5- but I can’t imagine how annoying 7+ will be.
@@xD3viLz once I was up high on a rock and went to throw it, but my game lagged and it came down on top of it. Well, it seems like the elevated position makes the range increase because it was hitting me from the other side of the extraction land pad. Sooo many deaths of me and my team
I tried this on hard solo and got my ass beaten to death and towers destroyed by chargers and hunters. I might give your setup a go to see if that changes things.
Seriously, Why? this mission is different from the others, is fast without having to travel kilometers before arriving somewhere. good amount of battles, which require good use of stratagems and weapons.
Damn. Me and my friend went out for three hours and we slowly started to dial in the loadouts but even on level 6 we find it impossible to not have our sentrys and Tesla coils destroyed by either chargers, spewers mortars or just riffraff. On level 7 it was none stop chargers and titans and we could get one battery done but we got to the second battery, it all fell apart again and at that point we wouldnt complete mission in time. I hate that the battery takes damage. Idk to me this is impossible two man at 7+ but clearly theres something to it. Were trying again tomorrow.
I haven't tried it in duo/squad yet, but I think having EATs will probably be useful against chargers and titans. I really like incendiary nades for this as well, helps to clear out the small bugs at least while you kite chargers and titans.
@@xD3viLzya once i discovered normal frags damage the battery and i saw my friend just chucking them without a care near the battery, i immediately locked into incendiaries. Gunna try some solo 7 rn get some practice in.
@@Linkophere Good luck! If the area gets overrun and the silo fails, instead of staying and fight, get their aggro and try to loop them around the map. With light armour you should be able to lose them mid-way and the area should get relatively cleared once you get back.

I'm not sure if it is planet related, but bug spawns also depends on RNG. I started the mission as soon as possible to avoid patrols and had good RNG spawns from the bug breaches during the silo.
Yeah bug type spawns are rng related not planet related. That’s why sometimes you get orange bile spewers or armored green ones. Or the flying yellow guys. And bile titans are related to how many times patrols signal for backup. Still, I could be missing something

Ive just spent 10 minutes or so constantly rewinding to see when it appears.....this mofo NEVER approaches you at all as far as i can see!!!!! Hahaha probably bad BO - but in all seriousness, there's aggro / stealth mechanics in the game. So, if a bile titan is far away, as long as you don't shoot it or get too close to it, it will just roam around (same for other bugs).
I think you should try this on extreme difficulty. It seems that its easier on helldive because they spawn less smaller enemies. These smaller enemies is what destroys the silos so fast. It could be rng but we never got bile spewers. Only small things that add up.
my doubt is, does your weapon dammage the battery silo? For example if I use flamethrower on terminids gathering on the battery will it affect the silo status?
It seems explosives does significant damage to it. When using arc thrower or flamethrower they don't seem to be doing too much damage to it - or it could be very low. But yeah, the general consensus from what I've read is that guns also do some damage to it so just be careful.
I can not do this mission in full squad on Dif9. We are getting endless spawns for whole 40 min (even without activating the batteries). We constantly have endless titans present (kill one, two spawn up). We tried to set the defensive perimeters, with turrets, mines and etc - but it does not help. Bugs go directly to battery (doing AOE stratagems near battery damages them as well). We even tried to surround the battery with Fire and Gas from all sides to stop bugs advance, but no avail. They do not care, still go straight to tower. We even went 4x scythe/4x laser cannon/4x guard scythe to have the endless firing spree (since other weapons deplete ammo faster then you kill bugs), still no luck. And if you fail the initial defense waiting for stratagem cooldown is not an option, because bugs keep spawning even without breaches. I went with jump pack on highest peak on fenris planet to check from where they were coming. As soon as you activate the first quest objective, bugs are spawning near the edge of the map and keep coming, again and again without any bug breaches. This mission has been the most idiotic and wasteful 18h tower defense in my gaming life. And mind you, I can do the fucking 500 terminid kill on Dif9 solo.

If things get too hectic, you and your squad can just run to the other end of the map to lose aggro, or have 1 guy get aggro while the rest go to one of the silos. I find that the tesla tower and EMS motar helps quite well.
Ima be the first to say it… this mission is terrible to play. I’ve been at it for about 2 hours now and haven’t been able to get past activating all 3 towers. The instant they are activated they somehow get reset. I think they have a hp bar even after activation so lingering bugs target it and destroy it. And the meteor storm modifier definitely doesn’t help considering it pretty much one shot a tower right after I had activated it. As it stands this mission is impossibly difficult on hell dive

@@xD3viLz problem is the main enemies to deal with are the chargers and titans and since we have no weapons or strategem capable of killing them both with a single use without dealing damage to the towers it means that once a titan or charger starts to focus the tower there is very little you can do. Even the disposable rocket gun takes 5+ shots to kill which isn’t very good considering they require accurate shots that you won’t be able to get due to the swarms around you

meanwhile i try to do this on 8 and get 20 bile titans lol. the AI director in this game needs some tuning there should not be that much variance in spawns of heavy/elites lol.

Yeah, also remember spawns are RNG, I had pretty decent spawns for at least the first two silo defences which made it easier.

this planet looks super easy. other planets have constant bile titans spawning 4 at a time even on diff. 7.

Mmm, that is a fair point. I'll check it out when I can! Though you can try incendiary nades, they are pretty useful against the small bugs.

Haha yeah, they do also take damage from Eagle and Orbital strikes which makes it trickier to defend.

Yes tested this with auto cannon we destroyed it in 3 seconds your weapons damage the tower

Yeah I do not fucking like these missions at all, and we can’t get our 3 mission medal bonus on terminid planets without spamming them. Yippee
