- So I've been traveling full-time for the past 3 years. I've gone from traveling with a backpack and a suitcase, which was not minimalist at all, to bike touring and carrying everything on my bike, to now backpacking for the past 2 months around India and the Philippines.
In this video, I share with you everything that I carry! Except for a couple things that I forgot to show you like my Kindle and selfie stick for my camera.

Thank you for your detailed explanation. You are not only a backpacker, you are also an excellent traveler!
I thought you were a very frugal person, but I didn't expect you to be such a tasteful person. Your shoes and clothes are of excellent quality!
It turns out the secret to looking like a star is to maintain good taste!
That baggie you found out at home is awesome. It can keep all the cables together. It’s super convenient. I really want to buy one!
Using a waist bag as a load-bearing part for a backpack can distribute some of the weight. You are so smart!
I'm glad to know that you are more organized and efficient than I thought. Thank you very much for sharing, well done! 👍🤩👏
thanks Gianni!
@@NickKTravel It is my honor, thanks to you too!🙏
What do you think? Minimalist or not?
Always, thanks for your support!

I'd say not minimalist. Those are a lot of items. I like that collapsible bowl
The Leatherman knife always goes with me on each trip. It has all the tools you need, even a screwdriver, corkscrew, scissors and what not more.
After I finish watching your video I have to admid that you are not only good looking, nice 'teacher', but genius in preparing everything you need .
GBU, be healthy, safety first, happy travelling around the world, looking foward to watch your next videos ❤🎉✨🚲.
I do hope you come back with your bike. Can cover more ground and see more places without spending for transpo. Biking is a thing here in the Philippines. Everywhere, you'd chance upon a jike shop to help you with anything wrong or for spare parts. What I learned from this vid is buyingbwith a purpose. Your choice of clothes don't need ironing at all and they dry off quickly. I love the towel too. That I think is biggest take away. That's genius. Why buy the traditional towels when you can do with what you showed and dries overnight. I guess what you can do away is your two journals. You can exchange that for 2 more pair of clothing. Just store all your thoughts in your cpu or cellphone.
Yeah, I can't do the scooter for long, especially the one I had. It just killed my neck! I like the freedom of bike traveling as well, looking forward to coming back to the Philippines! Gotta have the quick dry, which means unfortunately no cotton. So you liked the towel, nice! The journals I keep actually as a way to stay off my phone. There's something therapeutic about writing and putting your thoughts down on paper as opposed to typing or doing it on your phone. That's why I like my Kindle too, I could read on my phone but having a dedicated reader with just books and nothing else to distract you is key in my opinion.
I'll keep this in mind when i travel
Thanks for the reference, Nick! pretty cool stuffs!
thanks!
Nice. Can’t wait to see you back on the bike!
You and me both!
@@NickKTravel I have noted some tough times coming through. Hope it has not been too much. What happened in Taiwan with your wallet pouch? You never got into details. Did you leave it hidden wrapped up and someone tossed it?
@@NickKTravel on another note. You should do a bike build video or two and talk about what you need for your next adventure.
Ultralight backpacker, travel light with tons of memories, great.
Nice to share 😂. Good Video it is
Well prepared 👍 Nick … as you travelled around, you knew what you need .. have a great trip 💪🙋♀️🇮🇹Enjoy wherever you are … Cheers
Thanks! 😃
Thanks Nick! When you were biking in Taiwan and Java I kept pausing your vids to try to figure out what shirts you had lol. I got a Poncho shirt cause of you. 🚲
haha really? I actually reached out to Poncho before traveling last year to see if they would like to collaborate.. never heard a peep from them. Yet you still bought one of their shirts.👍
It seems that yoy had prepared everything that you need for your travel.
Hey Nick, thanks for sharing. I've been following you since your first trip to Indonesia. Somehow you remind me of the young version of Gabriel Morris. Btw, how do you organize your video files when traveling long term? Do you upload it to your cloud storage besides backing up in your M1 and external storage? I'm sure there will be a situation where both storage getting almost full.
Awesome man, I love to hear that. So I use an external hard drive. 2TB. Eventually what I have to do is delete old stuff that I’ve already uploaded to make room
stay healthy Nick.
thanks!
I remember in a video in Indonesia, you used the DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (I saw the reflection in the mirror).
Is it true that you have ever used Osmo Pocket 2?
nah I've never had one. I used the Sony HDR 300 from when I left to Japan until my bike tour last year when I switched to the GoPro
Ya sangat minimalis
The man purse unboxing 🤙💯 shoots brother you carry less than me . If I didn't go fishing I'd probably only need a fanny pack 😂
the man purse! fanny pack... gotta have one
remember to show your folding bed nxt time 😂😂
about to be back on it!
Wow that backpack can fit all that stuff 💙 Roark is that made in 🇺🇸? Only in the States where you can find amazing shoe stores that fix things when it breaks...nice!
thanks! yup.. i don't keep it on my back for long though. The Bedrock sandals are the way to go!
Good Teacher.
What are your thoughts on traveling to Guam? …closest American territory for ASEAN…
ive actually been to Guam before. Might be fun to go back and vlog. Feels just like America, kinda weird lol
I tought youre using Dji Osmo.
