The thing about the challenges is that as he said, they are supposed to make sure you master a certain skill. Which frankly, if you really want to play a striker to its maximum potential, you need to. So it has to be hard. And when you can finish every challenge it just means you can use every mech to a reasonable degree. It doesn't ensure you will win because you still need experience to know what other players are doing and what tactics to use but you will know what you're doing and by knowing the abilities you will also be able to know what you're doing wrong in a match and what to change.
there def seems to be a story built, and no way to explore it if they only intend to have PvP, so I def wouldnt be surprised if there was at least story missions. Or some type of pve mode where you can solo, or you can group with people in a dungeon like mode, where you get mods along the way to try to get futher and further.

Game Devs will never win against players complaining about challenge difficulty. If they make it difficult, people will say its too hard but if they make it clearable for everyone, they will complain about it being too easy. The challenges rn is just balanced right imo. if you clear it once, you can clear it 100x in a row.
If Mecha Break adds PVE this game will literally have everything i want from a mech acrion game. 👍🏿👍🏿
I always play male protag when given choice, but not for this one. Mech pilot suit + nice ass is the golden rule.
