I can think of another reason why they put a sticker on the switch housing: to avoid accidentally overlapping another sticker. So they put one sticker on each of three places: switch housing, motor, and mounting bracket.
I am not surprised by the Great Value light bulb, because both Mainstays and Great Value are the generic "Quantity over quality" money making Walmart Exclusive Brands. Walmart also holds other different exclusive brands such as Better Homes and Gardens, Chapter, and Equate. It's pretty much a "you are forced with those store's exclusive brands" like Dollar General's Clover Valley, Aldi's Millville, or even Sam's Club's brand Member's Mark. but Walmart apparently sell name brands such as Panasonic, Bissell, Samsung, Black and Decker, GE, etc. But Walmart doesn't make money off of the name brand products, the owners of the name brands make the money.
@@mrbignatedog_Official Kind of like how Hampton Bay fans come with Ecosmart bulbs, Mainstays fans come with Great Value bulbs. Great Value bulbs aren’t that bad from my experience. They are instant on and I don’t really mind the glow down.
Or maybe they are tired of having to tell customers to take fan apart to look and having customers saying things like “I’m not an electrician I can’t take it apart”.
The one I had wasn't a bad fan. Just wasn't worth taking with me. Considering they still make them. I like the bleached oak finish on the one you have better than the finish mine had
I’ve since tested it and surprisingly it moved decent air for what it is and is actually pretty quite. This one I won’t be letting it rot away with the elements since it’s actually from the same month and year that my uncle passed away and I don’t feel good about letting it rot and such especially since it was made around the same time he passed.
This has to be americas worst packaged fan because the plastic is literally paper and the globe is literally just sitting there rolling around in the box waiting to be cracked.
If you don’t like the ceiling paint you can give the ceiling fan to you I can trade you something like a Hampton Bay Lane Marco Hampton B plus or something I can trade you for one more ceiling fans I can trade you my $100 American just cleaner it cleans dust bye but you have to give me the if you give me the ceiling fan
Cute Ceiling fan. Perfect for a little Dining room.
Because of the file number for this fan is E130543, this fan was made by power max. I did NOT know power max made Mainstays Ceiling Fans.
Wow it’s been 4 years. Crazy
It says 2013 probably because they haven’t renewed their copyright © since

The sticker stuff on the switch housing is because mainstays is trying to mimic Casablanca lol

True
I wonder if these are better then the turn of the century Eros

the wrapping for the parts is like paper wth
Idk why but I think i might get this
It's a really really really good ceiling fan and don't say it's not good
It’s not a well made fan
I really like this ceiling fan
@@Emanfan96 hang it up and let the blades get all warped
Nathan P ?
it looks decent but the quality is cheaply made chinese stamped steel and mdf parts

Sold us on eBay for $15 inone sense
Energy costs are Cheap but I don’t like this fan cause it’s cheaply made I would rather get a Hampton bay ceiling fan
Also saying it was made by a Chinese labor camp is actually kind of racist
Who said that? I know I didn’t
@@Emanfan96 2:21 it’s actually funny lol
