UG Krishnamurti is I think the most egoless mind that I have heard. I was born a Catholic and felt there was suffering, then I turned to Buddhism which talk about suffering and mind. For years of trying to evade suffering through religion, nothing has changed, still suffering is there. UG has deconstructed the easy culture has a part in our day to day suffering. Knowledge and culture produces suffering. The world is haywire right now because of culture different religions different opinions different countries with different beliefs and creates conflict. I have been listening to UG for many years now and I get it. It's too late for me at least to be in the natural state because of culture. But UG also said to assimilate with culture otherwise it's harmful to me to be without culture. He said he stumbled upon something which he could not know what it is, it would be great to stumble upon that too.
it seems like UG stumbled into the animal state, the way most animals experience life. so if you call him an enlightened man, by that definition, all animals are enlightened. the question is - would you prefer to be in such a state?
Now I know why UG did not get global recognition like Jidu. Superficial knowledge without experience is of no use. For example, UG described selfishness, anger, greed as natural merits. If we had remained like this then we would still have been animals. Why did nature give brain to all of us humans because we are capable of living, and distinguish ours good and bad nature and can upgrade it by understanding. & Gradually we have progressed and reached here today otherwise we would have died fighting like the old viking tribes, today you and I who are living a civilized peaceful life just because of controlling our anger and greed.🙏🏻
