- Smol1s! We now have the final piece of the puzzle and are ready for stage 2+! Fast Lane Styling did an amazing job with our exhaust system and it sounds perfect! We wanted an OEM sounding exhaust with a bit more deep growl when accelerating + louder, as well as the option to close the valves for early morning/late night drives.
The guys were professional, friendly, had lots of banter & even made changes when we wanted to change the straight pipe system without any issues. Check out their socials below & follow them!

How much is it roughly to build a custom valved exhaust?
This exhaust cost way too much compared to what it delivers, it cost us around £1000 (just for a catback!).
For a full system I'd say around £600-700, you can get Miltek or BCS turboback systems for around £1000 new. For a custom catback system done properly maybe around £300-400. It also depends on how many silencers you want, sports cat etc.
On these cars a lot of people go for a Trackslag downpipe > custom catback system.
Give a few exhaust fabricators a call around your area and get a quote.

What a shit flowing exhaust
Yeah this exhaust is causing us a lot of problems.. The welds on the hangers are also cracking and there's a few small holes in the welds so not happy with this at all
@@SwatiGurpreet Yep it looked like chewing gum! Inconsistent welds - pipe to box. Welding is an art..
For sure! We obviously didn't know this before we went there but will never go there again
Bro this is the worst exhaust place to go to look at the welds and the pipe work has no smooth flow for 1000 quid you couldve gone emp or somewhere where you couldve got it tig welded instead with proper flow

Was going to say this unfortunately. This exhaust design is so bad. 2.5"pipework is so restrictive on these. Minimum for a cat back you want 3"
And that valve system is horrid, no need on a tfsi.
Agreed, we did originally ask for a 3" all the way but they said it wasn't possible... we only had the day to get the new exhaust on so went with it.
Our only reason for wanting a valved system is we live in a quiet neighbourhood, didnt want to be waking everyone up at midnight
