1) Disconnect the POSITIVE battery Terminal (B+) and touch it to GROUND for 30 seconds.
(This is to completely discharge PCM capacitors, which maintain the Adaptive Memory.
2) Reconnect the Battery Cable
3) Turn Ignition Switch to the "On" position but DO NOT start the engine
4) Turn Headlight "On"
5) Turn Headlights "Off"
6) Turn Ignition Key "Off"
The PCM Adaptive memory has now been flashed, or erased from the PCM.
When you start the engine it will be running off a set of pre-programmed tables that come with the PCM from the factory.
i was going to say that, u got it first
I had to do this on my BMW once. They told me to get an old battery, turn the lights on and let it drain completely.
Thanks for the info.
Hey Ben! Great job so far on the build.
Just a heads up, you only need to login with an FCA account if you want to access dealer features. You actually do not need an account to scan codes or look at diagnostic data. Just skip the login screen and the scan tool should take you to the normal homepage to scan for codes.
Don't forget the gap between the hood and the front bumper can be reduced with the weather stripping that goes there. It is plastic riveted in.
Glad you are turning out more vids.
Ben is on fire with back to back uploads
Honestly love watching you work on easy builds like this Challenger, so calming and satisfying also. Love it!
3:53 PERFECT timing! 😁
Great little video,Ben,remember don’t get to impatient, car is fixable just takes some tweaking.just keep doing what your good at.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Hi Ben,
It’s again a great job what you’ve realized till now with the Dodge Challenger. For sure you’ll fix all other issues like you always do. Look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
I love the work your doing on the challenger, you also did an amazing job on the Goonzquad Mercedes G63 G wagon roof repair
He’s the most underrated YT creator out there
@@Ms_Princess_Zelda 100%
Great work! But, no login needed. You just need an "FCA security adapter" for your bi-directional scanner. You scan and change values.
Cooool! More on the Challenger already. Thanks, Ben!!!
Congrats on getting your car running and driving. I would love to be able to do something like this one day, one day when I have a little extra money to buy a nice Challenger.
Hell yeah! She's well on the way to being mint!
Sometimes theyYou will have to initialize the ABS module to the car. Sometimes they have to be new not used to run the procedure. I have the Dealer Micropod II. Can let you borrow if you want to use it.
LIGHT WORK VTUNED. THAT'S A GREAT FLIP!!! FACTS!!! GET 💰.
Maybe AlfaODB will work for your needs. Lets you do many dealer options and as well enable SRT options in the radio.
always a pleasure to watch you work
Honestly, I think this might be my favorite youtube channel
Thank you for your efforts...best auto youtuber
your videos are great. I love the rebuilds and you upload frequently. I think the only suggestion i would have is to see you drive your cars more. You have some nice ones and it would be cool to throw in some more vids of just you driving your cars and doing things with them. Keep it up my man!
Looking & sounding fine!
My Challenger used to overheat, thought it was everything else, but what it was, it needed to be burped. But my engine had an air bleeding bolt on top of the intake manifold, then it ran fine after that.
I would have went with a OEM bumper cover instead of that aftermarket. That's a nice car! Enjoy the videos
Did a amazing job on the car💪
Coming together nicely!!!
You need a Tazer, and then the ECM unlocked by HPTuners and use their software to edit thangs, you can read and reset codes with both and the with HPTuners software, look at diagnostic logs and toggle warning light triggers in the ECM.
Well done challenger looks good🎉🎉
Love the vids, keep up the good work. The reason the pedal didn't work at first. It's because the car had to learn the new throttle body.
Ahh, that ain't nothing! Love the positive attitude! All obstacles conquered! Great work, beautiful car!
Great job Ben, save the manuals 🕹️! 😎👍💯
Awesome work as always 😁😎
Getting there well done, you might need the car to run through a ABS bleed, not sure if the vacuum will completely bleed, also if anyone is struggling with vacuum leaking I find putting some ptfe tape around the caliper nipple threads to seal them up help massively.
I love that color Ben...!! Looks awesome...!!
Loving how quick these builds are going
Making other creators look bad with 1/2 the tools
Looks good 💯
Another A+ rating for me. Very nice!
Yeah the car is looking great can’t wait till you finish it wicked awesome 🇺🇸👍🏻
Ben you have a great channel here, your very talented young man, and the only one that actually finishes cars /trucks for us to see, thank you from nyc
Ben 100% suffers from mental retardation.
great stuff thanks
Love this channel!
The car is starting to look good. thanks
Great series!!! keep up!
Looking good! Hopefully you can turn it and make a good profit.
Looks good Ben. I had a 74 Road Runner with a short throw pistol grip 4 speed and I loved it to
I would have just left the condenser silver because the paint is an insulator and will decrease its efficiency but I'm sure it won't hurt anything so if that's important to you I understand why you did it
If original ABS plastic is broken no issues bro. Unscrew 3 screw from used ABS open plastic housing install your original electronic board reassemble and good to go. It takes 15 to 20 mint. Just do it. No need dealership.
Excited to see a fresh pain job on that thing.
VTuned, gotta hand it to you. Nice job.
Keep putting out them bangers Vtuned 🤙🏾
VTuned is a beast!!! 👏👏👏
The old abs will have a code that you will need to copy to the new one so don't through out the old one
Looking great. Hopefully you don't have a problem with the head light situation.
This car always reminds me of the Vauxhall VX FD of the 1970's. Your videos are great, always enjoy watching them.
Excellent work 👍
Looking forward to seeing it painted.
Crazy how it’s a Clean Title still from that accident. Love that crazy purple you did amazing job so far can’t wait to see the Seat belts
Diggin this build bro …cars sweet 👌👍
It will be amazing rebuild ❤
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
Looking good….you got that car for a steal!!!
Hi Ben, great job " I like the classic.
Its looking good 🔥👍
This will be superb when it has had a drop of colour on it. Well done Ben.
Love it!
Nice video as always Ben 💙
17:55 windscreen not borken? Looking forward to seeing this one painted!
Loving your builds ben
Ben that front bumper looks much better now👍
tnx for the video
When you replace the ABS it has to be reprogrammed. It wouldn't Rev because of the new throttle body and it had to relearn the throttle body.
The new abs pump will have to be bled too and the the entire brake system bled again. Bleeding the brakes does not bleed the abs pump. Depending on your scan tool and what Chrysler allows you may be able to do it yourself otherwise it's a dealer thing as well.
@@ORRadtech yep
Great car. Thats for sure!
The bushing was definitely from Copart loading cars with the big fork lifts
I love your works
I use those vacuum brake bleeders all the time. They are amazing!! and very affordable as well.
Awesome job bubby
Nice, Correct should have gone with the OEM vs Aftermarket bumper doesn't match on top.
I'm here for the banging music.
Hey Ben you cheat you make these rebuilds look to easy, keep up all the great work, and awesome videos you knocked it out the park again 👍👍👍
I'd forgotten by the end of the vid where you showed the door scratches.Dog claws.I watched my dog do the same to a friends car after I cut his nails and we were headed for a run.I Always took him for a 2-3 mile run beside my bike after cutting the nails as I'd gotten scratched 1st time. The sidewalks sand the nails.(plus there was a columbo episode where that happened to catch the killer).Glad the front settled nicely.
Dodge challenger purple is always a beast💯🔥
Nice Ben
Good Job !!with the Scatpack 392 T/A
You are missing the front bumper splitter, I own a Scatpack as well.
I use to watch goonzquad but now I don't bother no more this is my new best channel

That beat you're using last few episodes is Fire...
Perfect!
Dang son this is awesome
It was your Lucky day for sure

Cool 😎 !
Gaps are perfect
Throttle calibration in the scanner
Nothing better then a manual rowing gears is a blast
The purple is so sick
AWESOME

If you follow the instructions on your launch scannet
It give you a website to go and for $50 you get access to the car for a year
You set up an account and you wiki able to read and do whatever to the car
I did for my 2019 Durango srt
My scanner is a launch x431 pro3s+ pro5 V
phone case looks nice :)
Amazing job! Wish I had one. ;)
