Ngl this had decent ideas but the thing is that I swear these devs don’t play their game. Pretty much ALL the good ATDs right now have 2x/3x (if AA lived it would have realistically been forced to add it eventually) and this game doesn’t, causing to feel omega slow as a result, which doesn’t help considering how much grinding there is and how there are 36 STORY LEVELS. Next, the battlepass is horrible value again. In comparison to other games, I’m paying 700 Robux for some of the new currency, some items… and that’s it. No trait rrs, dice, frost binds, wishes, NOTHING. This is arguably worse than last bp, which already wasn’t great in value cause what the hell do I need 10+ rare tethers for when they’re most likely bad units anyways. Then there’s burrow units which would be an ok addition if hybrid units could also hit them, considering they literally are on the ground (and before you say “well it’s to let ground units shine”, then why didn’t you complain when hybrid units could hit air units, making most hills pretty useless until the buff). Overall, i feel like this game’s devs lost all passion to make a good game ever since 5.7 years and it’s become more and more clear everyday that this game was just made to be a cashgrab after AA’s death, failing to improve on its worst features while introducing arguably worse content. I’m glad this game is falling as it really should have died after 5.7 years and I hope Vanguards doesn’t follow this trend (Also this whole post I’m ignoring how the PSX booth system cooked them from the start, but that’s a whole different thing).

Sorry, but your argument is built on shoddy views and blindsided opinions. 2x and 3x speed is not a stupid concept, and your argument that it entails one to place an op unit and do nothing WHEN that is the base gameplay is fallacious, especially when such a feature is manually enabled. Not everybody wants to stay in a stage for 6+ minutes where the enemies are moving at snail speed, and 2x speed actually allows people to grind MORE in that same timespan as it is quicker. Opinions like these fail to address the main issue of why AD is worse than AA; mythic damage units here are just not feasible. In AA you didn't NEED a full team of secrets to progress or grind; easily-obtainable mythics were meta and even ground units had good dps stats to compensate for their inability to hit air units. You can check a random AA inf video and a random AD video, and you can assess for yourself how many of the good units being used in AD are obtainable without no-life grind, afk simulations or robux. The HoM patch is the single worst patch note in a roblox game. The fact that nightmare mode doesn't even guarantee a confirmed wish drop after 20 minutes per run, just for the spin chances of the only 2 good units on that banner to be less than 0.05% combined with no pity is clinical insanity. The crux of a full update, the next big gamemode and an interesting concept reduced to a laughingstock in the community due to poor execution and practical ignorance. Claiming that AA's grind was hard while standing as an advocate for AD's already proves that you are a serial masochist and are yet to experience good game progression systems. But that's just my opinion.
