I think you were both very understanding about it - it’s very true it’s their livelihood and you don’t know what they have going on in their personal lives but it’s their job to make things comfortable for other people and that level of dirt just isn’t acceptable! Glad you made the most of it and hope it wasn’t spoilt too much ❤

That is disgusting You don’t pay money to have to clean. And taking little ones in that. I’d be raging if it was me. Used air bnb numerous times and never had that. I think a refund of cleaning fee is a joke. If it was me I’d post pictures on my review. I’d also put you spent hours cleaning and offered a cleaning fee back! I’d she’s being funny leave that as a review. Let her learn from the lesson. Also being honest will help future guests out. Sod what she says
Years ago things like this weren't recognised regarding the tongue. Things have moved on so much and thank God it has. I speak to people and notice they've got a lazy tongue and if only we had specialists like Carmen around things would be different. Baby girl is doing so well. Imogen I thought I was the only one that cried for my babies! My son who is now in his 20s had a play at secondary school and because he was so good I literally sat there and cried, quietly may I add but his class mates saw me and said it was lovely to see a mother cry for her child! I just can't help it so I understand why you are the same 😊 it's a mum thing it has to be 😂
Your dad reminds me of my mum when it comes to sleeping away😂 when you take pride in renting out your own home it does come with these expectations of others

You should have left a review on airbnb. They should have given you a free night or two including the cleaning fee. Cleanliness is the most important thing when renting airbnb. I stayed in a place in Paris that had 5 stars and the bathroom was disgusting. It was 400 euro a night. I left a review letting people know. It will quickly make sure they don't fk up again.
That is disgusting, I would have left regardless of how much stuff we left, even if it meant staying in another place. I hope you got the cleaning fee back. Well done for swimming in the sea
Omg can I just say I have had the worst air bnb experiences - the standard of air bnb has declined MASSIVELY post pandemic. I stayed in an Airbnb in Malta that looked absolutely nothing like the photos. When we complained to the host, he aggressively turned up at 4am (middle of the night!!) and told us to “leave IMMEDIATELY”. So myself and my friend were stranded outside, in a foreign country, and had to pay for a brand new hotel. Admittedly air bnb compensated us but it took us having to call them and properly complain. I just think hotels are far more cleaner and have actual standards that need to be upheld, you can’t trust air bnb reviews anymore because even our air bnb in Malta had amazing reviews but was utterly filthy :( sorry you had to experience what you did xx
Id have just walked out as I been to hotel who claimed its 5 stars and it was so dityy soo as I walked I'm the smell of damp, I said to ky partner at the time there no way I'm staying I'm leaving the last ask what problem ,I said It ain't 5star it a 1 star I didn't ask for no refund as I wanted to get the f@@k out .
