We all know what happened after Klopp took Salah out of the game against Roma. The thing is that not only Liverpools offense gets damaged without Salah. It's also the defense because of the way Liverpool plays. Their offense is literally their defense. I just can't believe how unfair this sport can be sometimes even with absolutely fair sportsmen like Salah. So unlucky. Everything that could have somehow went wrong for them actually went wrong.

We did lol. Sure we scored a goal and Mane hit the post (which the keeper would've got to anyway) but apart from that we were getting dominated hard - we lost a lot of momentum without Mo. A new goalkeeper and a few backup wingers are needed, if Mane or Salah are injured/subbed off we have no other wingers to turn to so a few backup with Woodburn would be amazing for us.

I'm not too annoyed to be honest. We played a good game, made a few chances in the first 20mins but Salah going of impacted the team mentally and we lost some of our confidence from the first quarter of the match. Then theirs Karius, we've known hes not great under pressure for a long long time now. Take the first round vs Roma for example when he fumbled Kloarovs shot onto the bar, the signs have always been there that something like this could happen.

Difficult to be too disappointed in the result - no one at Liverpool can be in any doubt about needing a better keeper now - if keeper made no mistakes game could have gone to extra time and there's a risk we think we can get by without a replacement between the sticks.
Silver lining is a better keeper in the summer and even Real Madrid would struggle to beat us - this is something to build on.
