So we can use what we have of knowledge about ,its never advisable to use any medicine irrationally whether its allopathic or Ayurvedic . They have different concept of doshas and prakriti which you might know but not well acquainted with the practice .

As per the present eligibility criterion , BNYS is not mentioned only BAMS And MBBS . But if you want to work in this field only it is possible even after BNYS ,DGO is not needed .
Although your working style will be different like natural birthing instead of caesarean , lifestyle advices and all and also integrated centres of many branches are working together.
I will advice you to give your best shot in entrance and don't worry much .
Whatever you choose ,BNYS or MBBS it will be fruitful only.
