If NFS Unbound Had a "Most Wanted" Update...

- This recent NFS Unbound update was a let down. Just a few car "balances" and bug fixes nothing else. Well here, the modders have already updated the game already and it is better than what ea put out. The cops! This may just be one aspect of the game but it is already a bigger improvement than what EA did (so far at this point in time). Made them even harder which is exactly what I wanted. Expect the modders to do much more soon. This would have been a real great update if this was in the game for console players but of course they don't have access to it. A Most Wanted Update like this would make the game a lot better!
Soundtrack in the beginning was Ils - Feed The Addiction and youtube claimed me with the wrong song lol.

How to install:
Download the 1.0.7.0 Frosty Mod Manager Early Build:

Open Frosty Mod manager and select your unbound game. If it asks for a key to get in, copy and past this:

if the mod manager is fatal error, try using the editor

When The mod manager is open after unbound is selected import the .fbmod file. then apply the mod and press check. Do this for the other ones too. Make Sure it is applied to the game and then press launch. Note that you must launch the game from frosty mod manager for mods to work everytime.

unbound has cops that aren't challenging but more or less annoyances that you can barely get away from so i agree,it needs actual good police chases rather than inescapable inconviniences

Rivals cops are more scary and thrilling tbh. I hate the cops in unbound, they’re so easy to escape but so damn annoying bro
What is pissing me off the most is how the cops just stop when the busted meter appears. Not trying to cut You off, block You or anything. They just stop. It's so easy to avoid them whenever You're close to actually getting busted.
True, but as far as the mod goes, I don't think they can re-script their behavior without the source code.

Now this actually has meaning cause it seemed like the whole PD was after you. You had heavies, interceptors, helicopters, everyone. Even the little grunt cops.

I believe there was some sort of glitch when that one car spawned in, causing it to fly out uncontrollably immediately after it spawned.

didn't they chill out on the amount of cops now so that the console players can play at a certain fps constantly without the consoles having a heart attack, but like for pc since you can practically modify the pc to make it better pc players don't have to worry about that?
also i feel like newer nfs games are always one of the fun car games to mess around with mods
He's the great descendant of the heli pilot from Most Wanted 2005, couldn't quite get the pilot licence, but who needs that anyway eh
@@gibleyman The heli was awesome in MW 2005. They also seem to have infinite mass physics because I've had those *very* rare instances where they would crash into a big-rig and flip them all over the place, it's awesome 💥
Without any pursuit breakers or pursuit tech, escaping a chase like this is no easy feat!
Also at 3:23, that would have been the perfect moment to use the shockwave from Rivals. 😅

-increase sense of speed
-way more tracks (like nfs heat nighttime sprints)
-leaderboards
-higher payouts
-weekly tournament speedlist crew battles
-pink slips
-fast travel !!
-again WAY more night time
- no OP cars
- better story mode (like mw05)
- bigger party sizes
For the sense of speed you can just adjust the camera shake option to 80% or higher. I normally okay with 55%. More than this the game gets incredibly fast but I get motion sickness

With action like that I reckon all this game needs now is some sort of replay feature or the option to activate cinematic cameras. Always enjoy seeing gameplay from different camera angles other than just the back or front of your car.

This is what I was expecting when we got the M3 GTR. Only for this I was actually ready for a long and thrilling chase. But I got away so fast....why couldn't the regular chases end up like that. Regular chases feel tedious.

The most annoying thing for me in the new NFS Games (Payback onwards) is the plain childish and unserious police chatter. In MW05 everything the police said sounded like you were in serious trouble, this just sounds like you got some road rage with another driver

Daytime cops in heat were serious. Although they were much easier to escape than the nighttime ones
No kidding. Most Wanted didn't have a pretentious chick trying to sound like a Marvel heroine and a bunch of meatheads angry they missed a gym day. The 5-0 were hella cold and professional.

Everyone hates rubberbanding in nfs games until the cops don't have it and you can lose them are taking two right turns in a row.

We need a increase in the feeling of speed in this game. Also rhino units. And finally we need the rock and csi sounding music for copchases

imo not really, the break to drift looks bullshit tbh even as an arcade type of game, removes the skill aspect in drifting and makes turns look like jokes as you can't really grip through it anymore.

Rivals was the only modern NFS that had a vibe of MW 2005/2012 and HP 2010. Cops in this game are deadly and they're really hard to outrun.

Notice how hard and difficult to find openings is, there is no Pursuit Breakers to allow you to try and escape, to make you think and throw the chase into your favor, if Unbound somehow adds that and this type of chases, then the game will go from a fairly good game to an instant amazing game
that blue and red HUD from the thumbnail went insane, it would be nice to add that

Aggressive cops and nostalgic MW soundtrack is enough to make this game all time hit.
So I’ve been playing need for speed for a while. And to be completely honest, the cops in this game have given me some of the most bs hardest battles ever. I’m only in the second week of story. Granted, I’m on intense difficulty but my lord are they insanely smart. Always finding where I’m hidden and just spawning in my path. It’s crazy and I love it! I’m surprised more people haven’t coke across this. This is heat 5 of course. Anything below that is a cake walk
Pretty much I feel that heat three is a good balance of cops, the corvettes will keep up with you, but you can deal with them by out maneuvering them or hitting them without your car taking too much damage. The Ford's at heat 5 are shit strong heavy hitters and it does become BS when all I want to do is get to a race or pick up a ride and heat five they can instantly spot you (unless you have the undercover racer upgrade which does make things a bit easier to escape their line of sight before a pursuit begins)
THIS is what the official update really has to bring out to keep the game more intense and alive.
blame the people that complained about heat's cops being too difficult for unbounds cops being too easy

Latest NFS game really need to add NFS MW 05 pursuit formula, it's really thrilling, especially when two SUV crashing in high speed to you
adding back the speedbreaker would also be pretty sick imo, if you can react fast enough and use speedbreaker, dodging the rhinos driving towards you would feel amazing.

Something about having 1,5 million in the bank at risk does make you more terrified of losing it that's the feeling i want.

The police is the best thing about this game to me I hate the police scanner voices feels like a cheesy movie but going up against police feels like a real gamble
I'd be more into the idea of making the cops more relentless if it was easier to take out individual units and you didn't need to worry about car health

This is fantastic but I hope they may add options for all the motion blur, slip streamy effects on the car to help it feel so fast when driving in NFSMW it just felt so tense everytime I played the game that other games I feel just haven't executed that same feeling.
Some quality content tho, as always, i hope EA delivers this type of cops...relentless

I miss how difficult the cops used to actually be. I recently played mw(2005) and carbon again, and those cops WILL NOT ever give you the chance to escape. And the second you reach below certain speeds they’ll just outmaneuver you, and trap you. Now in recent games, the cops just exist💀
The second I get my pc built I’m getting this mod. The base cops aren’t even hard, they’re just annoying. At least they’re a step up from Most Wanted 2012 😂
The problem with this is that there isn't destructible environments to take chunks of them out and that health bar

nah i used the unbound remix mod. it unlocks all custom cars. + i am able to play with npc racer cars as well (Anechka's GTR is my favorite one)

Nfs heat cops are literally op. Just 3 of them is enough to take you down. Especially the corvette police cars. Heat cops are no joke.

what separates nfsmw 2004 and nfs:shitbound: the professionalism in police chatter, in 2004 nfs, they reacted to it as a traffic stop, no worries. ope, it turned into a chase. ok requesting more units on this chase. now its down to it being just 2005 xbox game lobby
