Ant talks about Sean Couturier switching agents, his relationship with John Tortorella, Torts’ future with the Flyers, the possibility of Matvei Michkov coming over early, the Flyers season as a whole, the culture change with new management, what the Flyers may do in the offseason, Scott Laughton, where Craig Berube could be headed, his take on the Boston/Toronto series, his Stanley Cup pick, the Oilers, the Canucks and much more!
Before Ant joined us, Riley and Derek discuss the NHL playoffs starting with the Florida Panthers eliminating the Tampa Bay Lightning and the possibility of Steven Stamkos leaving Tampa. Then they talk about the New York Islanders losing to the Carolina Hurricanes and questioning what’s going on with Rod Brind'Amour’s contract. Rangers sweeping the Capitals is the next topic of discussion, and finishing off the East they discuss the Bruins and Maple Leafs series and Mitch Marner’s effort level. Over in the West, the guys aren’t shocked about the Avalanche eliminating the Jets. They shift over to recap the Oilers and Kings series and how awesome the Golden Knights and Stars series has been. Wrapping up the playoff talk they finish with Vancouver and Nashville. At the end of the show they also answer fan submitted questions!

Hello guys. Greetings from Ohio. Great to watch this particular podcast with Anthony. The AHL Arena in Cincinnati was the Cincinnati Gardens the Arena Anthony is referring to back in 04-05 Season.

How can you talk for an hour and not bring up the Hayes story? Don't be afraid to ask the questions guys.. come on..
This is one of those times when you remember Derek and Riley aren't hosts really (and definitely not journalists). They're bros sitting around telling stories, commenting on what's going on currently. I don't think they're too interested in getting hard hitting info to the public.
But I agree, they've talked about the Hayes story before when it happened and I would've *loved* for them to ask Ant San as he was sitting right there. Would've been great and would've gotten more engagement to this video if people knew they confronted Ant San to speak on it.
Don't care what anyone says, Hayes def influenced either intentionally or unintentionally

It’s a non-story. Again, if the Flyers had a problem with what Ant said, they’d have asked him to apologize and retract it. They never did. Dan, Briere, and Jonesy were all on the show after the Gauthier stuff happened. None of them ever ONCE asked for an apology or retraction from AntSan. SnowTheGoalie is still affiliated with the flyers. Tells you all you need to know.

Building your roster around your coach is one of the dumbest things any pro sports franchise can ever do. It’s one of the fastest ways to die as a GM. I really like what Briere has done up to this point and I trust him, but making important roster decisions around whether a player “fits” with Torts is unbelievably dumb…especially when they’re young and can be coached into good habits. I would hope a Farabee trade would be strictly hockey and not related to fit with Torts.
