As a kid I used to go to a friends and he had Driv3r on his Ps2.. I had never heard of it and I had games like GTA vice city but never experienced anything like Driv3r at the time.. I was blown away by the driving physics, gameplay and story.

Also, GTA Vice City will always have my heart, But the driving mechanics in any GTA game cannot hold a candle to the Driver games that came out around the same time.. It's night and day when it comes to the driving and car mechanics.
@@ProofScopes Yeah, GTA 3 and VCS have incredibly basic handling, still better than some of its clones like Watch dogs or saints row. Only GTA IV is close, but then ofc rockstar stupidly went away from that handling.

2004 release. this game was definitely ahead of its time. the soundtrack, vehicle development and details from Driver 2. even the story became more cinematic then any other video game. even better then GTA. Driver 2 & 3 felt like The Movie Ronin❤ Absolutely nothing comparable.

That bush on the right at 6:43 in Nice? Drive through it slowly to glitch under the map. Want even more fun?? Use the invincibility cheat and drive through it slowly with either the box truck or long nose cab and HOPE you land on your wheels. Then, take aim at the other end of the map and floor it, you get launched... LITERALLY.
Or this one i found when i was a kid, so first you go to a downward slope that cars go down you walk infront of the cars so they stop then jump ontop of their car and boom they slowly fall through the map
I had quite a bit of fun with this one as an 10 year old. Unfortunately, the house i lived in burned down only about a year after it came out and I never got another copy. I still remember how hyped i was after reading all the cool stuff you'd be able to do in magazines...i can still feel how excited i was when my uncle took me to get it the night it came out. At that age, i was gonna enjoy it no matter what because i loved driver 1 and 2. I was a little dissatisfied with the story mode because i really liked Soloman Kaine and I wanted to see more of Vasquez and how that whole story played out.

I think they thought that older cars fit Istabul more, given it also has old american and french cars.(Like chevrolet Impala and Alpine A111) It would be nice if these were available im both Nicea and Miami aswell. Kind of like PC version of Driver 1 did allow you to select from all the playable cars in each city after completion.

I knew where all the secret cars were in Driver2 but i never found any of these in Driver3. My favorite was the clown car. Or am i mixing this up with the getway? Lol i miss my childhood dude

Something tells me that the forklift replaced the cut Citroen 2CV in the church garage in Nice. I don’t mind forklifts but this feels like the lamest secret vehicle in the game in my opinion.
Timmy Vermencilli ( I think that's how you spell the last name) There are ten of them around each map and if you kill all of them every NPC in whatever city you are in turns into Timmy Vermencilli! But yes they scared the absolute shit out of me as a child as well!!
I loved this game as a kid. Never played the story, but would drive around for hours exploring, trying to find the hidden cars. The nostalgia is real.
Man I so wish this game wasn't rushed. It has SO much potential!
