at 2:40 I mention having to create a checkout and a success page, you no longer need to do this as the plugin will create those pages for you automatically upon activating Tickets Commerce.

Hi. I'm from South Africa, and was wondering if Payfast is supported as a payment gateway, outside of Stripe and PayPal?

Hi, @The event calendar. Thanks for all you do. Could you please point me to a tutorial on how to create an eCommerce ticket website like that of the popular Ticketmaster or Eventbrite. Thanks

Great video, but I am having troubles for people trying to buy tickets from a cell phone. The space where they are supposed to input their credit card won't let the fill it out. I also have my PayPal account linked but it is not showing upon checkout. HELP!

why when I connect to my paypal and it said
Completed payments - payment connection error
Denied payments - payment connection error
    Refunds payment - connection error
    Reversed payment - connection error"
and when I selected a ticket and go to the check out and it said checkout is not available because a payment is not set up yet?

this is for pro users? because I've already installed the event calendar plugin but I can't connect it to my paypal account

This video is about Event Tickets, which is a separate plugin from The Events Calendar. Event Tickets allows you to connect to PayPal. You don't need the pro version for that.

@@TheEventsCalendarSolution Thanks for replying. I've installed both plugins. and when I connect my paypal account, it appears this message:
      Completed payments payment connection error
      Denied payments payment connection error
      Refunds payment connection error
      Reversed payment connection error
Do you know why is that?

Is there any way I can sell free tickets (0$ tickets) to my users, tickets are not allowing me to left the prices blank or 0?????

Hi there! In order to sell a ticket for $0 you would need to use WooCommerce, which would require using our Event Tickets Plus.

Doesn't work. WP page on my end looks completely different than this for creating the ticket. No tickets tab in General, Payments, License. All it does it create an events listing page with no possibility of buying a ticket. No box to create ticket amount. I chose page in general settings. On the home page you'll see a "Tickets Checkout" button that does nothing and now I can't get it off my page.. This video must be outdated. Remove this video please.

Whats the shortcode for the carts page?

    • @TheEventsCalendarSolution
      @TheEventsCalendarSolution  Před 2 lety

There's no shortcode for the carts page. Event Tickets doesn't work like that. If you need that kind of functionality, you would need Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce.
