Well, I came into this expecting it to be just as easy as Ps2 cheats. i was sorely mistaken. i stopped caring after the making the patch part but great video
Well i can understand that, and i figured that most would feel same way that is why i just started releasing them, this is for those who wanted to make there own seeing that are 2900 games and im just one person and i could not do all the games and test and releases but thank you for comment and happy emulating
@@ChidreamsEmulationGamePlay just curious though, why does the cheat menu itself work? When I went in here I saw a cheat file in there but there's clearly a different syntax to that as well, putting just the code in there does nothing but I figure if it's there it's gotta work yeah?
@@moneyboy503 well it not really for cheating the patch manager is really used for fixing games with memory moves, that the real ps3 does not have those issues, but i noticed that the Artemis on ps3 has same style codes so i tried it and it worked sort of that is why this video was made, but there was too many codes for me just one person to release, Until the XMB is completely emulated the Artemis will never work, but i see they are working on it sorry for long message

At first I tried cheat engine with the new value types for RPCS3 but it didn't work and I ended up here so I'm pretty interested in general. I appreciate you. I was just looking at this at like 6am and hadn't been to bed yet, I went to school for coding I just was frustrated and didn't want to look at it đ do you have a page of the ones you've made personally?
@@ChidreamsEmulationGamePlay hey so I figured it out for Metal Gear. I've gotten all the codes from the codelist to work for that but for some reason the codes for The Darkness aren't working for me. I get them to show up in the patch menu but they appear to not be working ingame. do you by chance either have a different set for this game or maybe know that my issue could be? the syntax seemed straightforward after looking at it but im stuck here
For anyone having the issue with incorrect formatting when opening the patch manager, make sure all the whitespace to the left of each line is spaces, no tabs. If you look in the console at the bottom of the RPCS3 windows when you try to open it and get the error, it says which line in the patch file is causing the error.

That seems like a lot of work. Why wouldn't you manage cheats while the game is playing and add those codes to your list or even edit the export file. Values are particularly easy to find in MW3.

I wish this was as easy as duckstation, simply run the game and the dB was built in.

@@romdan7136 not that I have seen, looks like the focus had been move to the ps4 emulator in my opinion as we were getting updates on regular, but now itâs all about the RPCSX but fingers still crossed that they will get cross bat working

All the AoB codes of DmC Devil May Cry BLES01698 BLUS30723 01.01 start with B instead of 0. If be32 must be used in replace of 0 then what must be used in replace of B then?

A pity that rpcs3 debugger does not support "read" and "write on change" breakpoints as pcsx2 does so that rpcs3 users can make their own Sony PlayStation 3 cheats and patches more easily.
RPCS3 text doc wont update after starting the game. The only PPU available is for Artemis no matter how many times I start the game up and the close everything after starting

Well have you tried the v 1.01 codes sometimes they are the same, but if not you would have to debug them to find where the change happen. Its not an easy process documentations is not straight forward. sry

@@ChidreamsEmulationGamePlay I found the codes but when you were typing them in you added be32 ox before the cheat . I don't see those characters next to the cheats. Do I put that before all the cheat codes?
@@Mikes_DMD_Challenge âbe32â is the code format that is supported by rpcs3, and â0xâ represents the syntax for memory addresses.

In Devil May Cry 4 BLES00186 BLUS30092 v01.01 av01.01.ncl there are lines that begin with 6 for examples Red Orbs 9999999 and Proud Souls 999999. I know that be32 is used when seen 0 and byte when seen B but what is used if seen 6?
I tried it with Fight Night Round 3 but it didnt take

It's was pain to edit these lists but now I got stuck. BLES01815 has some list with multipliers and I don't know how to paste these.
Example:

Hello, i have not figured out how to use the AoB with the rpcs3 patch system, but i know you can used them in cheat engine i have a video here czcams.com/video/Q44c1THmY7s/video.html, but far as the z codes you pick which one you want and it becomes the value so example would be (be32,0x000C3B38, 0x1C8403E8) for 100x hope that helps take care
So for example the cheat for Guild Points Multiplier in White Knight Chronicles 2 BCES01085 V1.01 in the artemis file is

all i'm getting is a black screen. I was hoping this would work on either of my computers so as not have to deal with a power hog of a ps3 (which may not work either) EDIT: now its doing a lot of nothing. "boot with custom config" and it just sits there. last time I did this on an older machine, it was loading shaders (or whatever) and presumably froze up (one of my explorer windows locked up too, total first)
Why are you having issues ? Are you trying to run the application ? as they only thing you would be running is the patches, and you can search for them on ps3.aldostools.org/codelist.html
@@ChidreamsEmulationGamePlay black screen / "fatal error" are the errors on machine #2; on my other machine, its loading modules, which I am to guess is going to take a few hours (can't exactly run a ps3 and a pc at same time, very high electric bill)
@@ChidreamsEmulationGamePlay ohhh, that's what its supposed to do. go to game patches, find game, check boxes......pity that "infinite health" = instant death (ratchet tools of destruction).....however, game still fatal errored. EDIT: turns out it wasn't infinite health that was killing me but a "insta-kill" for everyone......including me. so i unchecked that box.
I plan to go out today to find the game and test the cheats. In some instances, the listed addresses may have shifted due to the PS3 being emulated in software. Occasionally, you can locate them when they move by using a debugger, if you have the time.
@@ChidreamsEmulationGamePlay i would go and test it on my PS3, but I have a feeling if i continue to use it (thus far, i've only got the wifi working, haven't got artemis loaded yet) my electric bill is going to go sky high (not sure how much electricity a super slim uses just at the menu)

@@ChidreamsEmulationGamePlay I posted a comment, that is a recommendation, about using the "patch creator" feature of rpcs3 instead of Notepad++ to create the imported_patch.yml file inside the patches folder or directory yesterday and it was deleted for unknown reason. This comment existed for a few minutes only before deletion. I also posted a comment about asking you to upload the imported_patch.yml that you made in this video for Assault Heroes and this comment was deleted for unknown reason as well and I am frustrated! I read in some webpage that CZcams comments are deleted if they are spam or offensive or contain links to dangerous or suspicious websites but my comments did not violate any of these rules and still were deleted. These automatic bots that delete bad comments are bad themselves. My true intentions are to contribute to the wide community but I can't contribute at all if my comments are deleted or hidden from the community or no one can see or read my comments at all.

@@almosthell6228I apologize if this doesn't match your version, but this is the only one I have. In most instances, the cheats are compatible with other versions as well. You just need to modify the PPU and conduct some tests.

What part? Itâs just copy and paste, and this is only a temporary fix until Rpcs3 has fully emulated the ps3 and we just click the cheats on and off

@@isimpforshiver Well i get it seems like its hard , you just load the games then wait for start to show up, then close out application then search rpcs3.log for PPU, the trick to this is that your looking for the the serial of the game and it take you right to what you looking for
