- A very soft YEEHAW to all of you! A lot of you have been asking lately if I could do some Red Dead ASMR. Despite the unrelaxing nature of some of the gameplay in RDR2, I find this game to be sooo calm and quite ASMR-y. Today we're going to explore that ASMR side as I take my horse out for a ride in the snowy mountains. Listen to that lovely snow crunch underfoot, the horse's soft breathing, and some gentle music throughout. Who says Red Dead can't be relaxing?

The attention to detail in this game is truly unmatched. You can really tell so much care was put into it.
Ohh yes! The smell of horses is so nice, and earthy. I grew up around a lot of farmland, and there’s just something so comforting about that earthy scent that comes with all those sweet animals. I miss it a lot, but the physics of the horse in this game are so realistic.
Ahh and the new year’s thing too! We all need a reminder to be gentler with ourselves. Even the “small” stuff is worth celebrating, and there’s no timeline for how life is supposed to go. Thank you for all your kind words, I’m so very grateful for lovely people like you in this world 💕

So tell me what are your thoughts, feelings and emotions?
It is actually quite pleasant and satisfying to walk and crunch through fresh snow, especially while it's gently falling and not too cold or windy, also especially if you have a nice mountainy or woodsy area to walk through that is far enough away from civilization to be nice and quiet. When nice, big snowflakes are floating down around you as you walk, it can be one of the most peaceful moments you will experience. It doesn't even take much snow to muffle some of the other noises and make things very serene. It is not, however, very pleasant to trudge through super deep snow like you were doing a lot in this video. While I admit, it seems really nice in a video game, it's definitely less pleasant in real life, unless you are really bundled up against snow getting on your clothes or in your shoes/boots. As far as the sounds go, in my opinion it actually sounds nicer in person to walk through fresh snow that is on the wetter side (usually means it's a bit warmer anyway) and that is only an inch or two deep, than it does to try and walk through snow that's a foot or more. The wetter snow tends to have more of the satisfying crunching sound than dry, powdery snow. Deeper, powdery snow can be pleasant for some things as well, like skiing, snowboarding, and I would guess/assume snowshoeing, but generally I prefer a lighter covering for general nature enjoyment.

In case youre doing this again: Im pretty sure you can change the volume for certain things like footsteps, gunshots, music etc. individually so the game isnt too quiet without having any disrupting noises.

Might seem like a random question, and it honestly truly is.
But even with this, is there really any meaning behind my thumbs tapping what is physically just a glass screen, and is there really any meaning within the symbols we call letters, and even the fact that I said 'symbols' which in itself is just a made up definition that occurred at a certain point in time.
And then your interpretation of this, as genuine as it will be, will definitively differ to that of someone else.

I was laying in my bed the other night, and figured there is no meaning to anything. Everything I 'experience', as real as it seems, is also a completely different experience for, say, the hundreds of people driving their cars as I look down from a high building. With each of them in a completely different state of mind, and with them having no idea that I am imagining myself being them from the high up building, and also with a mutual impossibility to understand EXACTLY what it would be like to think as someone else.

I was gifted this game, never played it but been meaning to play for a long time. It seems like a game I would completely lose myself in. Every time I see gameplay I'm really impressed.

Because I completely randomly chose your comment at random, and I imagined you imagining a stranger commenting to you.
And if those trains of thought were in fact what happened, I can only imagine a physical crossover of isolated thoughts. You know, like in an 'X' shape, where there is an intersect in the middle of the 'X'. This middle point might be the common thoughts area, with the other diagonal lines not touching the others, hence they would be the free thoughts.

Great vid and start to 2023. Funny I bought RDR 2 for my PS4 and never got to it. I just opened it a few days ago. I had to turn on my 10yr old loud jet engine PS4. Great game so far! On PS5, Series X and PC alot more. Lol

What is my favorite snow in a video game? A long time ago when I was a kid in 1997 my sisters and I bought Diddy kong racing for the Nintendo 64. I love snow levels in that game such as walrus cove and frosty village.

Have you played in the snow yet on GTA? This is the last week. I had an idea, if you wanted to make a GTA ASMR video in the snow, you could do an invite only session online and that way you would avoid other players at least :)

Played this game (RDO) for over 1000 hours and gave up on it cause of the terrible descition of the devs NOT to add heists and properties, as a matter of fact, i now have boicoted all take 2 games since because i cant support a company that neglects players, and yes, the salt is real, actually unsubscribing to this channel as well just for featuring it.
