These guys flew through their fear and prayed they wouldn't die. They risked everything so that we could live freely against one of the most powerful forces the world has ever seen. These people are men.
People always forget about the brave soldiers who hit the beaches of Normandy (I mean the ones who have died.) And, now most people in this generation never cared about the deaths of citizens and soldiers who try their best to keep us safe. Just like the Ukraine soldiers who are still fighting even after an entire year. They will never go down without a fight.
they will never grow old, most will be forgotten, and only those that came back will remember ,soon they will be forgotten too, and here we still are who desides such things.

Even though I'm a Mexican who really, Really hates the American goverment and the people who run it and the fact that América has fought so many inmoral wars through the years, I will highly disagree with the people who hate the people who fought for their Nation (Iraq Vietnam Philipines and the México wars dont count those were unjustified wars the men who fought in those wars should be disappointed in what they participated but at least should be respected to go and leave everything behind to fight) are disgraceful, men die out there and leave families behind, and those men who survived those wars should be respected.

1980-0726, Saboteur Pours Battery Acid on Parachute. In 1980, I was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division @ Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Captain (CPT) Hill was my boss. The following information is from my diary: CPT Lawrence D. Hill exited a C-130 airplane on a night, combat equipment, Airborne operation. His main parachute failed to open & he fell to his death. @ daylight, the 82nd Airborne Division safety office investigation began. The main parachute, still in its pack, is a combination of nylon & a strange pasty substance. Tests reveal the parachute was soaked in battery acid. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) takes over the investigation. Private First Class (PFC) Alvin P. Williams, a parachute rigger with E Co, 407th S&S Bn is the primary suspect, he packed the sabotaged parachute. He refuses to take a lie detector test. During the investigation, CID investigators strike PFC Williams repeatedly, knocking out his front teeth. He admits to bringing a soda bottle with battery acid into the parachute pack area & pouring it on the nylon material during the packing process. PFC Williams appears before a general court-martial. During pretrial motions, the judge refuses to allow evidence gathered during & just after the beating incident. PFC Williams admitted to everything in the hours after his teeth were punched out. He is found innocent due to lack of evidence. Upon hearing of his acquittal, Williams gave the jury a broad toothless smile. He tells reporters he can’t wait to return to his unit. Paratroopers in the 82nd Airborne are briefed on the incident & allowed to terminate jump status with no repercussions, 300-paratroopers out of 15,000 terminate. I did not terminate & went on to become a master paratrooper in the 82nd. Author’s note: The newspaper article below leaves out the part about acid & PFC Williams being beaten. CID was ashamed about losing the case. They also did not want “copycat” repetition of this. After PFC Williams was kicked out of the Army. CID sent two agents to his home town for six months to follow him hoping they could catch him doing something illegal. I told the truth, this is how the papers reported it:
The one dislike Is from the axis soilders who got killed by the paratroopers
