I love to travel via this airport! The layout and design is so perfect in my opinion, beautiful wood, stone and glass architecture. Norwegian exclusive design. Not just cold and white metal halls as in other hubs around the world.
I was in this airport in Nov 2018 ( even taking Flytoget high speed train to Oslo for a couple of hours) and it is beautiful, too bad they can't do the same in Canada, as the airport in Toronto is just the pits, then again we're talking about Europe, Scandinavia to be exact.

great video! i have a trip booked from edinburgh in scotland to dusseldorf, germany in june via oslo airport in your video. do you think that 1hour 45 minutes would be enough time to land in oslo and then check in for the next leg of our journey? we wont have any luggage to collect as we are only travelling with hand luggage.

Oslo Airport really did impress us, world class standard! We were there a few years back while they were building and doing renovations and the airport was not as impressive then. Oslo airport ...renovation as you claim... No ....not at all. It's an all new airport from 1998.... The construction work that you had seen earlier was an extension of the terminal.... and therefor also some allocation of space between domestic and international areas.....
Never been to Oslo so it was nice to see the airport. I think the commentary enhances the video and adds the personal touch, I would always prefer to see and hear you both. Happy December!
We have been to Oslo, Norway multiple times but this was only the second time we travelled through this airport! We must say we very much like the look of Oslo Airport which was recently renovated (a few years back). Nice to hear that you also enjoy the commentary. We try to make videos in the style that we ourselves enjoy and personally we do not enjoy walking tour videos where the person filming does not comment. Unfortunately my tv that’s set up for internet CZcams decided to go bang , when I finish work today I will go and buy a new one , always nice when you go on holiday in 3 weeks and now have an extra expense lol

3 days ago I left from Gardermoen to my country and for me is one of the most beautifull airports that I've seen and maybe (without blurb) the best that I've been.
Regarding the duty free set up. It seems to be quite common to force people through the duty free area when walking to and from gates nowadays. The set up is the same here in Australia. It's good though 👍
You can completely bypass the departure tax free shops at OSL, there is a wide path between them (there are two, but the other is closed due to reduced pax numbers).

7:39 "No one is wearing masks, it's not a requirement anymore, we're going in the right way in this corona pandemic". Only 3 days after the upload (7th desember) Norway has again started to close down, and masks are now mandatory (if you can't keep 1m distance to other people) 😅😪

If you have a connection flight, DO NOT look for your baggage. It is in a room, prepared to go on the next plane. You need only to get YOUR SELF into that place. DrDropin is extremely hard to find in Oslo, so ASK someone and tell them to show it to you.

Hi there William! We managed to travel to Greece this year and also recently twice to Norway. We are both fully vaccinated but are very cautious of travel at the moment as the corona virus is currently very unpredictable. We prefer not to travel at this time as we do not want to end up getting stuck in a hotel room because of a lockdown and or risk not being able to get home (if we fly far).
