  • In my video tour of Bnei Brak, (see here • A Tour of Israel’s Ult... ) you met Eli Benedict who left the community but continues to be engaged with the Hasidic world. In this little bonus video, we talked about his personal life and the pain and difficulty he had endured when his place in the community dissolved.

Please no, may she find success on YT.
Cable T.V forces people to sacrifice themselves for fame's sake.
I don't want another reality T.V about how terrible the Haredim are.
Judaism is pretty great, I just wish it had less rascism.

His life seemed so sad. Even if he was allowed to see his son, it wouldn't be fun for him because his son wouldn't want to see him and will be afraid of him because of what he's being told about his own father.
It's nice to see him happy and with a nice family now.
Who knows, maybe his son will leave the community when he's an adult and want to start an adult relationship with him , if he's not told that someone else is his natural father now, which is sadly what will happen.

Eli makes a mistake in thinking that the religious court chose his wife over him for custody because the court favors the mother.
Basically his wife accused him of being irreligious, of lacking devotion. The religious court is always going to favor the religious parent over the irreligious parent.
I'm sure listening to the radio wasn't the only foundation for her accusations.

    Can someone please help me?
Watching this I get the impression that both Ms Vizel and Mr. Benedict are really attached to their respective children.
That is verry dificult to understand.
Let them (children) eat rocks! the saying goes.
In short that does not mean they eat actual rocks, rather means: can't someone else feed those disgusting children?
(see Umar ben Alkahtab and the hungry woman for the full story)
Also why would Hashem have such a set of creative punnishments for childless couples?
I can only conclude that healthy parents don't want children.
But this video seems to contradict a fundamental axiom of how the world works.
Eiter that or both Mr. Benedict, and M.S vizel are defective, like my mum.
Luckely there is a treatment for it, my mum gets treated for her defectiveness.

Eli gets these comments every time he speaks about being estranged from his son. But the truth is, it's extremely difficult in the frum world to re-enter a child's life if you didn't fight for the relationship or get access right while leaving. It's so easy to judge, but so hard to understand the dynamics that make this so difficult.

Jesus is the only way to heaven. Such a specific statement may confuse, surprise, and even offend, but it is true nonetheless. The Bible teaches that there is no other way of salvation through Jesus Christ. Jesus himself says in John 14:6: "I am the way, the truth, and the life." No one can come to the Father except through me.” This is not a way as in one of many ways, except through Jesus, to God the Father.
Jesus is the only way to heaven for a number of reasons. Jesus was "chosen by God" to be the Savior (1 Peter 2:4). Jesus is the only one who descended from heaven and returned there (John 3:13). He is the only one who has lived a perfect human life (Hebrews 4:15). He is the only sacrifice for sin (1 John 2:2; Hebrews 10:26). He alone kept the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 5:17). He is the only one who has conquered death forever (Hebrews 2:14-15). He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). He is the only human being "glorified" by God. . . in the highest place" (Philippians 2:9).
In many places, except John 14:6, Jesus spoke of himself as the only way to heaven. He presented himself as an object of faith in Matthew 7:21-27. He said his words were life (John 6:63). He promised that those who believe in him will have eternal life (John 3:14-15). It is the gate of the sheep (John 10:7); the bread of life (John 6:35); and the resurrection (John 11:25). No one else can rightfully claim these titles.
The apostles' preaching focused on the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Speaking to the Sanhedrin, Peter openly proclaimed Jesus as the only way to heaven: "There is no salvation in anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must save" (Acts 4:12). . Speaking at the Antioch synagogue, Paul stressed that Jesus was the Savior: "I want you to know that the forgiveness of sins has been made known to you through Jesus. Through him all who believe are freed from all sin" (Acts 13:38-39) John, writing to the church in general, states that our forgiveness is states the name of Christ as its foundation: "Dear children, I am writing to you because your sins are forgiven for His name" (1 John 2:12). ... No one can forgive sin but Jesus.
Eternal life in heaven is possible only through Christ. Jesus prayed: "And this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent" (John 17:3). To receive God's free gift of salvation, we must look only to Jesus and Jesus. We must believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross as the payment for our sin. "This righteousness from God comes to all who believe in Jesus Christ" (Romans 3:22).
At some point in Jesus' ministry, most of the crowd turned their backs on him and left, hoping to find another savior. Jesus said to the Twelve, "Do you want to go too?" asked. (John 6:67, NIV). Peter's answer is absolutely correct: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life, and we believed and understood that you are the Holy One of God” (John 6:68-69, NIV). We all share Peter's belief that eternal life is only in Jesus Christ.
Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here?
