Both are good, it's just that Yehua took the initiative while Mo Yuan never said anything but showed it through his actions. However, she did not understand. Also, as her Shifu, Mo Yuan couldn't express himself to her during the time she was his disciple. So in their case it is a matter of not having the right time. By the time he was able to stitch his soul back together, he had already lost her to his younger brother, as Mo Yuan himself told Bia Qian, and even then she did not get the very obvious hint that Mo Yuan cared for her in a romantic sense.
