- These are the systems and things I needed when I opened my dealership. Software I Use, Web Page Company I use, where to order supplies, tools you need and things you don't need. Again, this is what I know has worked for me. I'm just starting out making videos to help used car dealers. I'm not getting paid by anyone to endorse their products. This is just who I use why and how I opened my dealership for 50k.
Glad to see you put out another one. I made a similar video on my channel recently only mine was more like buying the wrong types of cars at auction, business structure, and TAXES. Glad to see you're filming again. You're an inspiration. MAN - Don't tell people to call you. Tell them to leave a comment or email or something or you will get calls every day and they'll all want you to know their life story before they cut to the question.
You are right. My problem is I work at my dealership still and actively involved in daily operations. We have 650+ accts on the books at all times, we still selling 50-60 cars a month, I buy the majority of the cars, and then repossessions. That last one takes up more time than the rest. From getting cars picked up, getting it transported back to the dealership, dealing w/ the customer, recondition them and getting them back up for sale. I run out of day light in a day to make a video. I will check your channel out.

Create a vehicle inspection sheet. Check off the items replaced and refilled and have the customer sign that they have received it. Add it to your deal jacket.

You make me want to start doing bhph again but man I had a lot of issues with it when I tried it with my lot. I tried following Rick D advice and I just couldn’t do what he does successfully
It can be a pain in the rump sum days. For the majority of the time, it beats being in the Full-Service Restaurant bus. any day of the week. It has treated my family and I well. Now that I have a big staff and good people working here it is even better. We just need to keep sales up and repos down and life is good.
Great video! What was the name of the credit card processing company you use? I like that they charge the fee instead of me having to figure it out 😂
Reverse the fees is one company I used to have. Nathan is my rep now for electronics payments his # is 504-338-4315. He can hook you up.

Do you make a spare key for every car for repo purposes.
We are about 60%. It is a very expensive endeavor but if you have to repo saves you money big time.
