Was waiting for this review Justin! This Rescue suit looks gorgeous with the amazing paint applications! It is very well engineered as Hot toys managed to hide the joints, but are still able to provide us with over 30 articulation points.

Finally got her in my hands. It's very nice indeed. I was a bit worried when I pulled her out of the box and felt it being a bit top heavy. But it is actually well balanced for the most part. As for head movement, you can get her head to spin 360 if you want (not that you should) by tilting her head back and having the back neck piece slide down. Next you push the head back which will now allow you to have enough clearance to to rotate her head freely. She still will not have side/side tilt due to the neck design. I found the ground pound pose weird due to lacking the actual range of motion required to do such a pose.
Her lower abdomen also extends out to allow a little bit more articulation. Side/side tilt/rotation. Some back and forth. It's a very limited range of motion, but it's there and works well. Discovered this when trying out the ground pound pose only to fail as it's not too my liking. LOL
Not into Iron Man, but this suit and color remind me of Priss' hardsuit from Bubblegum Crisis. LOL
Wish they put more thought and design into the articulated hands. It's just a little underwhelming. Would have loved to see the hands be able to splay out and close up. Able to do a proper pointing or #1 finger pose, etc.
Overall, I love it. It's a very nice well balanced figure with some die cast. Definitely happy having her in my collection. :D

I don't think it has anything to complain about. It's head sculpt looks like Gwyneth Paltrow, the articulations, detailing and accessories especially the huge blast effect😊😊😊😊😱

Great review Justin! I love the faithful helmet design for Rescue, the light up effects look like some of the best Hot Toys has done, and that blaster effect is really neat. Very much looking forward to the iron patriot when he releases.

I’ve had this on pre-order for ages and am now very excited to get hold of it after your great review.
The figure kind of holds dual purpose for me because I always loved the Bubblegum Crisis Priss hardsuit, but never managed to get one of the Yamato figures. Rescue shares quite a few of the same design cues and colours but in so much more detail.
The armour with the IM3 head sculpt is the stuff of nightmares, though!

I think they did a great job with her partial face headpiece & it's true to her likeness on film, especially when you are viewing from 1-2 feet away in display! Cool figure for sure !

Can't wait to get my mark 49. Really nice review on articulations! it is very detailed and I like the part where you demonstrate the weight differences between Mark 49 and Mark 85. I can't wait to see your review on Mark 85 Battle Damaged when it is released! :)
I do agree with the battery problem, I hope Hot Toys will have a new engineering method where a USB slot is inserted to light up the figure instead of the batteries, I often lost one or two batteries when trying to put them in, as they fling out when not aligned for insertion into the slot...

Do you have any tips or tricks on how to put in the watch batteries for the light up features? All the figures I have that have light up features I don’t use cause I can never get the batteries in to work them.
You should get a Soap Arc Reactor, with that you can have your figure light up all the time. Look on youtube if you want to see what it looks like ;)

The Rescue headsculpt seems much better than the IM3, especially for the eyes and expression. I agree that not including a new sculpted hair version is a bummer.
The back attachment scares me just by looking at it on video, especially after the blooper! I will use the fully deployed back panels though, they're too good to pass up.

This figure looks amazing! 😍 definitely a must have for me in my collection! The colors just pop! Tons of articulated pieces sprinkled all around her armor which I love. That head sculpt looks just like her in my opinion. Really wish they added an unhelmeted portrait as well. 🤷🏽♂️ She’s a sleeper of a figure. Wish they re-release a Pepper Potts 2.0 from Iron Man 3 🙏🏽 The A-force display is coming along nicely! 🙌🏽 Great review and thank you for sharing my friend!

Great review, Justin! This figure does look amazing. Although I will say, at 14:53 - The size comparison looks weird since Gwyneth Paltrow is actually taller than Robert Downey Jr. We've even seen both characters standing next to each other in bare feet in Avengers 1, and she's clearly an inch or so taller then him. So, it's kind of weird that the Iron Man suit is proportionately about 6 inches TALLER than the Rescue suit. I guess Tony did some pretty impressive engineering to give himself half a foot of extra height while keeping Pepper the same size in her suit. Haha
