Enjoy this episode of Kraft Suspense Theater, the Award Winning Television Suspense Drama Show that ran from 1940 - 1962. Many stars and writers got their start on this radio thriller show which was well written, directed, and acted. With plenty of intrigue and action, these radio plays are some of the best.
The Kraft Suspense Theatre is an American television suspense drama series that was broadcast from 1963 - 1965 on NBC. Sponsored by Kraft Foods, it was seen three out of every four weeks.
Later syndicated under the title Crisis, it was one of the few suspense series broadcast in color. While most of NBC's shows were in color then, all-color network line-ups did not become the norm until the 1966 - 1967 season.

Dean Jones was perfect in bringing his Disney touch to this role. R.I.P., Mr. Jones.
He fit this character well
This episode was really fun. Nice to have some humor sometimes.
Enjoying these.
Glad you are enjoying them. These Suspense Theater episodes were great stories with good acting
Thank you for taking the time to share these with us!
Glad you liked them. Thanks for watching
This was one of the better ones.
Yes. This is a great episode
Originally telecast on June 24, 1965.

Brought to you by KRAFT! *KRAFT....* for good food- and good food ideas."
Classic neighbor character, Detective Brennan
I have admired Dean Jones acting since seeing him in Disney films when I was growing up. He is more than just Disney material. A jack of all trades. The actress is lovely 🌹
Yes. Well Dean Jones was primarily known for the light-hearted Disney rolls, he could play a wide variety of characters. It's good to see him show up from time to time and different series and movies
Very interesting....@15:20 a very large photo of Lyndon B. Johnson. One can only assume this was shortly after 1963.Given the title frame MCMLXV is 1965. It could have been filmed before in 1964 though.
Good observation. Around 1963 seems right
Maybe they liked him as a governor
music reminds of Hogan´s Heroes.
Both shows had iconic theme scores. Just by listening to the music you could immediately identify what you were about to see
I'd say hints of The Pink Panther theme....and jauz az quirky.
@@VoicesOnCall well, this is absolutely new on my plate. It´s very good series
the comedy jazz music sounds very familiar, like I heard it before watching this episode. Sounds like Henry Mancini or from a Jerry Lewis movie (Walter Scharf) But John Williams, who composed the Suspense Theatre theme music was also a jazz musician before his film and TV career.
wouldn't the light be automatically turned off in the vault????
Haha, might not work like a fridge
At Universal Studios, in almost every movie and TV show, everything on set had to be lit up! In the 1964 remake of The Killers, which is supposed to be a noir movie, they even lit up the waste basket under a desk.
Aaaand this is the 4th one I've tried to watch. The video is so blurry and distorted I can't even see the actors' faces. I've tested my laptop by streaming other videos on CZcams and they are perfectly clear so it must be your channel. Perhaps these are recorded on old VHS tapes? Is anyone else having the same trouble? What a shame. Thanks anyway.
No it's clear to me.
With all due respect to you, were you alive when these original shows aired? This is how they looked on tv then. Not sure what you expect from these. For some of us, that's part of why we like them..nostaligic. I really appreciate people putting these on youtube for us. Thank you!
Just goes to show how the government uses anyone to any means to an end regardless of the result that comes of it.
Annoying
I keep hoping these will be good. But, they're not.
