From Vimanmek Palace, I walk to the dock where the Chao Phraya Express boat docks. Along the way, I see a traditional market and unexpectedly encounter a pig on the street. The Chao Phraya Express is part of Bangkok's public transportation system, but for tourists it can be the ultimate cruise. For the low price of 0.4 USD, I take the Chao Phraya Express boat and head to ‘Wat Arun’, famous for the Temple of Dawn. The scenery around the Chao Phraya River in the evening provides tourists with a spectacular view worthy of being praised as the Venice of Southeast Asia. After looking around Wat Arun, I take a boat again and view the Royal Palace across the river from the rooftop, and I go to N13, Tha Phra Athit, a dock near Banglamphu Market and Khaosan.
