- Doc decides to plant the deer food plots and fields after heavy rains. Saturated soil is great for broadcast seeding of deer plants such as clover. The heavy rains will help the seed get covered with soil and seed germination can happen in as little as 3 days. When planting deer food plots also stay focused on soil health.
We finally found ourselves in the path of some of these clouds and my lawn is loving it! Can’t believe the fertilizer I put down right before the rain stopped was still around to kick in when the water came back. We’re on sewer so no irrigation except for what the good Lord provides!! My daughter lives in your city to the west and has been telling us about all the rain so to have some fall on my 1/3 of an acre is a wonderful thing! Keep up the good work!
Love your explanations sir, thanks!
Yay!!!
Water feature is back on the pond, bit smaller though than previous?
Same one
Thanks Doc!
Thanks Doc my grass is the best ever. green still in all this heat without that much water because of all the organic materials added, dirt booster, chicken feed , horse feed, alpaca pooh etc.....
Hey Doc. Could you please do a maintenance video on the bighorn when it comes time. I bought one and would like a guide as to how to service it. The owners manual is kinda vague. Brandon from Macon,Georgia
Thanks Doc.
Going to put some clover down myself when I get time
1st. Love your vids Doc🤙🏽
Thoughts on durana clover? Thinking about seeding about half an acre this fall with it.
We use both white dutch and crimson. White dutch seems to be the winner
