@@hisroyalbonkessthat’s the point. If you want nectar then 1 nectar is worth 50 gems. Why would you take a chamber reward that gives you 6 gems over a nectar when you’re trying to farm nectar? You would take the gems only if the reward is 50+, which it won’t ever be besides boss fights.

Small tip to add if you're in the resource director late game like me, check the wretched broker in between every run. Every once in a while a special offer at the bottom will be 500 darkness for 1 ambrosia. You'll eventually collect more ambrosia than you can spend, same with titan blood. Plus you can get an infinite amount of ambrosia by trading useless gems and keys once you've unlocked everything with those.
@@jybutbynyn heat is the only way to get more ambrosia yeah, i eventually did 1-20 heat on all weapons that gives you way more ambrosia than you can spend. You can also trade in gems up to ambrosia but that's only useful if you've already unlocked everything with those. That's late late game lol. I'm close to the last rank of resource director just now

@@jybutbynyn it depends per relationship but all the Olympian gods are 3 i think, it's been a while since I've done that Resource director is in the top left of the house of hades, in hades' bed chambers. It's basically just a darkness grind to rank up.

On my one run today, at the start of the run I randomly got a legendary Poseidon boon for fishing. Not sure if I did something special or if it was just progression from taking a lot of poseidon boons
5:36... I'd call starting a run just to farm darkness pretty wasteful of time, when you can also be getting darkness while advancing heat to get more bounties. That being said, I might try picking up that Chaos boon more often to try and get more gems/darkness.
Honestly farming stuff is pretty easy if you switch weapons but tbh there’s a lot of weapons I don’t like. Usually I’ll just skip over the +20% gems bonus but I’ll do a regular farm run on my fav weapon. I’ve been playing for a week or so and basically all you have to unlock are all of the mirror talents, the quest related contractor things, your favorite keepsakes, at least 2 maxed out aspects and at least 1 summon. After that you’re pretty much set to try to find all of the dialogue and go through all of the heat lvls.

Hey so I was wondering how do you farm for the stone that can alter the rooms to a different boon I have never seen this before and I have no idea how I got it but it’s a little black stone
they are dice named Fated Authority (room chance) or Fated Persuasion (Boon upgrades reroll) you get them from the miror of night and also if you buy the upgrade b y the house contractor for it to drop as an extra reward from completing chthonic keys rooms I believe.
Do you get more darkness doing farm runs on a higher heat than 0 that would still be considered "easy"? Or is 0 heat the same as any other fully completed heat level in terms of awarded darkness and other common resources?
Mostly every room but not for mini boss rooms, charon's shop rooms, NPC rooms, Fountain rooms (but this one is random so you can't predict), the rooms before the bosses.
Hey I’m super new to this game, and I’m having trouble getting gem stones, I can get the boons, but how do you unlock all those upgrades for the contractor and mirror? I’ve gotten a lot of the basic ones already, but I don’t see any options for 90% of the upgrades you said would be helpful.
To add onto this .... I would say it's way more than "somewhat easier". The mirror talents at the bottom that result in increased rarity is what results in beating hades, as well as the Contractor Work Orders. Getting the rare and epic boons are really important for Hades kills. So are the fountain rooms the Work Orders provide. I think they do that on purpose. It makes it seem like you could have always beaten the game ... but I think there is a big damage output happening on the final talents of the mirror. Maybe there are videos of people beating hades without any of the talents or the Work Orders, but it seems like that is the deciding factor for a first Hades kill.
Why are you telling people how to play a game? And furthermore, commenting on a game with RPG, item, and talent elements to say "Dont do anything resembling leveling up" ok..

I am farming nectar right now quickly to unlock all locked hearts to make a guide and it is better to farm gems to get nectar.

That's because you're comparing nectar with what you buy nectar with.

I got that one at a random start as well! I think I had caught about a dozen fish prior to that.

nothing really you have to get it for upgrading the portal later on to unlock the final heart for chaos and nix

you need to use the heat skulls from the pact of punishment to gain new bounties for the boss rewards what you will get after beating the final boss
