I've considered going to the Haunted Hayride for several years (I live in CA), but I was put off by the mixed reviews I read online.
THIS IS THE BEAUTY AND VALUE OF WHAT THE CARPETBAGGER DOES! Now that I've SEEN what a Haunted Hayride experience is really like, I can make a truly informed decision!

Hayrides are my favorite Halloween attractions. Open enough to feel scared, but enclosed enough to feel safe (specifically that no actor will touch me with a chainsaw).

Shortest shorts in a haunt go to cemetery vampire! The lounge singing comedy act was the best part & I’d go just for that. Unfortunately can’t find anything on the Haunted Hayride online presence stating who it is or even listing it as part of the event. A shame...events, especially in L.A. area should always highlight entertainers.

I bought a VIP ticket (second most expensive one), can anyone give me tips before I go? Is there limit to how many times you can go on attractions and how early should I go to avoid long lines and parking mayhem?

btw, this isn't all over the u.s. just certain areas that feel like getting into the spirit. the city where i live don't do much other than decorate their homes and maybe a few parties. not so much trick or treating. a couple very low budget haunted mazes at least!
