Bank Employees Robbed At Gunpoint

Masked assailants made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from an ATM at 1st National Bank’s Choc Branch on Wednesday night. The branch remained closed on Thursday. Several customers unaware of what had transpired were forced to go to access services at other branches.

For a little island they like to copy everything they see that's happening in the bigger countries, and everything they see happening on television they will try, too much idle hands, the banks need to be more secure, they better take it more serious and upgrade or update their security systems, even the business places ... it's like I'm watching television, what's happening with this little island, it's very sad some people choose to do criminal acts, criminal behaviour ... It's too much, police officers need to patrol to try to reduce crime ...

How can you explain that there isn't an automatic lock on the door, or someone at the back door to press the button to lock it? Where was the night security? Given that G4S is nearby, how is it possible that there are no paint spray systems or high-security measures in place? Are you really suggesting that this bank has the lowest level of security?

I blame the bank for their lapse in security total negligence. A bank with so many branches profiting millions should have a centralized security headquarters which monitors all their banks 24hours they can detect hear see on cameras both interior and exterior of the banks ,this robbery could have been averted if they had such a system in place..The central security center monitors the banks every detail and immediately contact law enforcement once there is an inconsistency...I pray the employees get help, support and sue that bank for emotional distress their lives could have been taken in a speck.There is alot of questions that need to be answered by the bank officials im waiting
