I bought this for my M2 ipad, got rid of my keyboard case and it's way more fun to use my ipad now! Especially the ability to use it in portrait mode. Also love the super strong magnets. It sticks to every metallic surface like crazy. Way stronger than their other magnetic cases. No worries at all. I have metallic door frames and this a whole new use case.
I own both the ESR Keyboard Case and the ESR Recound Case for different use cases for my iPad Pro 13. To my frustration the magnetic inner cases for the iPad are not compatabile. If I want to switch I also have to take the iPad out of the inner case and put it in the other one. Also, the magnets don’t work with my Kuxiu stand. So I regret I bougth this case and the ESR keyboard.
The reason I'm going to buy this case instead of the usual cases that have the screen protector that folds to make the tablet stand up is because the iPad is extremely thin. Despite all the bend tests which have shown that it is solid, I prefer to have a case that has a flat surface on which the iPad will rest, and so, an iPad which when is standing is on a flat surface doesn’t require it to be pressing on one spot (the fold spot of the usual cases) I guarantee you that if your put your iPad on that position for a long time (I’m talking about weeks) without touching it, gravity will make it bend since there’s nothing the top part is on and since the case part isn’t hard I don’t want to pay over 50€ for a case but it’s better than ending up with a bent 1219€
I was wondering the same thing. It does not look like there is any gold dots in the back that would attach to the magic keyboard…..if they would have added that it would be perfect!
It’s definitely heavier as the case has metal in it but I personally don’t find it unwieldy. I think it helps that the iPad itself is slim to begin with.
Not super strong. You can hold it with the cover down and give it a shake and it will pop open. I haven’t found it to be a problem but others may not like it. Overall I’m very happy with this case.
No, it flops open if you don’t hold it closed. It also slides about in your hand, which risks scratches if you pick up a piece of grit. The inside of the front cover is hard and uncoated.
I got one and i can say this is an awesome case! But... it's incredible heavy. I use with iPad Air 13" and with device in it it's 1,34 kg! :( Heavier than a macbook air.
It does add bulk but I don’t mind it. I found the thin iPad difficult to hold so I like the added thickness. Of course that is just my preference and I’m sure some will probably like a thinner case.
The inner case is as lightweight and is fully functional , as well as protective. I just use the heavier folio section for stationary viewing or travel. Even then, unless you are a toddler, it isn’t really heavy.
This is the best case out besides a keyboard case imo. I feel like this is even better than the Zugu cases.

That’s a pretty cool case
We got the same case for our new iPads. They are awesome 👍🏻
I got this and it’s great, I got care about the weight I’m not weak 😂 protected and gives me angles

If I just have the back on the case, will it still securely attach to the Magic Keyboard?
I unfortunately don’t have the magnetic keyboard to test with.

Is it suitable for IPad Pro 11 inch (4th generation)? I bought it but the case wont fit well, though its for an 11 inch iPad and mine is 11 too.
This is specifically for the 2024 model.
Is this heavy together with pro 13 inch ipad? Ty

@@Rickmakes thank you
Is the magnet on the front also strong When the iPad Case is closed
Nope

Yeah. Definitely not the lightest case but love it none the less.
It is a great case, but all the bulk adds the weight to iPad

i wish they made a flap to hold the pen and cover securely in place just like one of their case.
Yeah, I switched to a version like that which has a much more secure front cover.
Very difficult to apply the case!
Did you install it in the same way I did?
Yes - it literally wouldn’t go - had to return it.
I have the same problem and i don’t know why
There goes your extra thin iPad Pro. Now as bulky as a laptop.
So basically take the thinnest and lightest iPad ever and slap on the bulkiest and heaviest cover on top…no thank you..👎
I don't mind the weight but it's not for everyone. I would have been find had they made the iPad thicker and gave it more battery life.

most ipad cases that aren’t folio are gonna be heavy
