Another winner! Thx! They look so cozy. Loving that fabric.
Thanks for your videos in general. They're inspiration and educational but also meditative too! 🧘 Does that make me weird? Ha! 😆

You said in one video that you are only 5 feet tall. I can’t believe you could make something like the tiered dress from a commercial pattern and not be swimming in it. I’d like you to make a video on how you prepare your patterns before you cut them out to get them to fit you.

I wish I had some super secret tips, but I really hardly ever alter patterns. For pants, I have to shorten them, just at the lengthen/shorten lines, and skirts I'll sometimes shorten from the very bottom. I always look at the finished measurement chart to see if there is a crazy amount of ease, and if there is, I'll size down. For the McCalls Tiered Dress I made no changes -- just cut my regular size 8.

Since I don't have a serger but have some cute knits I want to make some joggers with how do you suggest I sew the seams? Zigzag? Can I bind the edges? I hate having fabric and not using it but don't want to hold onto it until I have another machine. Thanks for sharing 💙 I love your channel ❣️

I would use a width of .5 and length of 2.5 for pretty much every knit. And you don't need to serge if the fabric won't fray or shed (like the velour I used 🥴), so you could leave edges raw.
