Starting the tour with the drone was such a great way to really see the layout of your garden. The music was beautiful. There’s not much to say that hasn’t been said already-your space is absolutely magical and inspiring.
While your garden is, as always, absolutely beautiful, I, for one, am SO excited for an October garden tour to see all of your trees in full autumn color! That front lane will be gorgeous!

Every morning I watch Laura. My puppy will stop what she is doing and watch too! I put it on with my TV. Today when the video started she stopped chewing on her bone and watched the drone footage. Like me she is a Laura fan.

I wanted to come back and add, the Maxi-million sunflower at 46:48 is impressive. I feel it is a perfect answer if someone wants the look of bamboo without the monstrous nightmare of the bamboo’s aggressive invasiveness.

Your red point maple , I've seen some neighbors in my area wrap their tree trunks with a breathable material that keeps their tree trunks from sun burn , in its young age. Hope that helps. I'm in South Eastern Ohio. Near the famous pumpkin show. I just stumbled on your you tube show and I'm hooked and a junkie now. I love love your videos . It gets me so excited and planting . I can't stop. Thank you so much. The nursery down the road thanks you also 😅😂.
I love the bench on the west side NOT being aligned with the walkway, it beckons and says come see what’s around the corner, come sit and stay awhile within
Laura I think you’re getting so far ahead of yourself. There’s so many areas that you haven’t touched in a couple years. How are you going to be able to do that big area around the Hartley? You haven’t touched the area where the big fountain is. I wish you well but I think you need to hire more people to get the areas planted.

I am usually a person who likes to center things but I like the bench being partially obscured by the ambridge rose. I think it's perfect being almost crowned by the elderberry. Besides, if you Scooch it over, the natural arc of the elderberry will need to be really pruned up on that side.

The Maples are susceptible to bark splitting...its caused by temperature changes caused by sun hitting the trunk, especially during winter when the temperatures fluctuate more during the constant up/down, and day/night time temperatures. Shade that side of the trunk with a shrub and give it extra water.

Watched for second time today. My you have planted so much here in the South Garden….from the empty dry soil to this lovely garden. I watch every video and each small plantings don’t always register as to how this will become such overall scenic glory. You mention there is no planned design….but your artistic eye and your extensive plant knowledge brings a wonderful results…
