I stumbled upon one of your short videos and was impressed with the quality. Today, after watching your video, many Indians may now know the true colors of the UK and the US.
Actually it is 4 million in the second bengal famine and 10 million in the first. I'm a bengali and am sad that so many of my ancestors died. Still bengali is one of the most spoken languages in the world.
It's sad there's a lot of bots and deniers out there. But this is a valid perception and realistic summary. Churchill persisted in exporting grain to Europe, not to feed actual army but add to the buffer stocks that were being piled up in the event of a future invasion of Greece and Yugoslavia. It's a sophisticated malevolent behaviour. But there were millions of Indians that died during colonial times this is a small number but woke studies in schools don't teach this. India houses the oldest civilisation and probably religion, well looted by all. But still exists.

When I was in school, I really hated history as useless subject....but as time passed I realized history is a subject that teaches us leaasons from real life past incidents and the way you tell those incidents is like listening to story. Keep it up👍👍

My dad was born in Delhi and completed 12th grade in Delhi says he learned the real history of India while studying at Yale University in the United States. Indian History was taught by looking at primary sources and having class discussions. The students would then critique the distorted description of events in the textbooks. There was famous Bengali novel which depicted this famine named "Ashani (lightning) Sanket (signal)" penned by famous Bengali writer late Bibhuti Bhushan Bandyopadhaya.(Satyajit Ray fame Pather Panchali is also his writing) Satyajit Ray filmed Ashani Sanket which got Golden Bear award in Berlin Film Festival in 1973.Soumitra Chatterjee acted in that film.

But in none of our history text books I found any report or cause of the famine. Intentionally it was hidden by the so called national leaders after 'independence' of our country. By the way, there is no such word called pandama in bengali, it is "phan de maa" ,"phan" is the water left after boiling rice , "de maa" is basically calling the lady in the house, so that they could provide the people outside "phan".
