I’d say the more blog posts the better, this concept can be done for any affiliate product though - GetResponse was just an example since it’s one of the few email marketing platforms that have an affiliate program, which doesn’t require an application review process (anyone can sign up without a following/website with traffic) & the payout of $100 per paid sign up is on the higher end :) If choosing to promote GetResponse, it might be a good idea to stick within the SAAS/email marketing niche for the blog and promote other email marketing platforms such as ConvertKit, MailChimp etc (their affiliate programs do have an application review process though, but once you start getting traffic to your blog, your applications will most likely be approved/a much larger number of affiliate programs will be accessible).
You'd get more traffic and quicker using parasite SEO, creating articles and posting them on reddit, medium and LinkedIn etc, then you are free to write articles about any software you are affiliated with. Google promotes the bigger sites, if you build a new site it'll take months to rank high enough to pull in any significant traffic. And Get response and email marketing in general is seriously saturated everyone is doing it, you'll be competing with so many the only keywords left are still in the 30's for difficulty you would need 15 or less to stand a chance.
