- How the locations from the 1984 film "Wheels on Meal" look now - 2022. I found these locations and took the comparison photos in March of 2022.

Thanks for posting this it’s brilliant. This was a great childhood film of mine to watch from about 8 years old and I loved all the locations . It never dawned on me until years later that it was filmed Spain.

40 años ya de esta pequeña joya del cine de artes marciales! Merece la pena hacer un revisionado y ver algunos de los lugares mas emblemáticos de Barcelona y Catalunya (Sagrada Familia, Poble Espanyol, Montserrat,...).
La pelea final entre Chan y Urquídez impresionante. Y qué decir de Lola Forner...una belleza de la época.

It was so much fun finding and visiting the locations from this film. They take you all over Barcelona, making for the ultimate tour. The opening scene was actually filmed in Begues, about a 30 minute bus ride from Gava. I tried my best to find the apartment where They jump out the window but was unable to.

Great video! Thanks a lot for the inspiration... it's just a shame that you don't know exactly where it is in Barcelona. I would be interested in some locations quite precisely, for example, where the park is located, how Jackie Chan meets Biao Yuen with his father there, I would also be interested in the place where Biao Yuen jumps down the stairs and tries to save the young girl? And one more place interests me. Where exactly does Sammo Hung meet the gentleman with the hat? Such an interesting church or something, it is. :-) Thanks a lot for any TIPS
Hi Paul, thanks for the compliment. The park where yuen biao visits his father is the
Parc del Laberint d'Horta in Barcelona. The Poble Espanyol is another place where many scenes take place, including Yuen biao jumping off the stairs. Both require admission fee to enter but its worth it!

Está localizado em La Roca del Valles - aproximadamente 45 minutos de carro de Barcelona. No entanto, o castelo é agora propriedade privada. Portanto, não consegui entrar nem chegar perto dele.
