- Aerial view of Hong Kong, one of Asia’s most beautiful and mesmerizing cities. From the glitzy modern skyline to the mysterious looking backstreets. From the quiet beaches of Lamma island to the frantic commercial Port of Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is one of the most fascinating places to visit in Asia and the world. The city’s unique blend of Western and Chinese influences makes it a popular destination for many visitors. Whether it’s for its spectacular food, the dynamic cultural landscape across the city, or the incredible views, Hong Kong should be high on any traveler’s list.
In this drone video I show you some of the highlights (both tourist spots and off the beaten path areas) of this beautiful city, starting off with the panoramic views from the famous Victoria Peak. I explore parts of Kowloon, Victoria Harbour, the central business district at Hong Kong Island with its expensive real estate and epic skyscrapers, and some of the most dense apartment towers in the city, nicknamed the ‘Monster Building’.
Other than the urban jungle that Hong Kong often seems to be, I also show you a different side of the city in this film, including the famous Tian Tan Buddha statue and the container terminal.
** The footage in this video was made in the years before the global pandemic. I am currently not traveling, like most people in the world. **

This was extremely nteresting to me. The footage thru the high density apartments and some of some of the similar looking buildings reminded me of fractal animation videos I like.
