IT’S FLORIDA SEPTEMBER 2022! Join us as we start our day Celebration Town lake for a Starbucks before we head to the Orlando Premium Outlets to do some discount shopping and see what is available in the Disney Character Warehouse.
Later that evening we go to Twistee Treat for an Ice Cream before exploring the new Aldi Supermarket on highway 192 in Kissimmee to see if it really is as cheap as people say!

When I was last over in Florida (about 20 years ago!!) If you had a UK Costco card you could use it in the USA. Was really handy as there was 2 families sharing a villa for 2 weeks. So bulk buying bagels, cream cheese, snacks and juice was really handy 👍🏼👍🏼

Very interesting Andrew to compare the supermarkets, price selection and stock variety for people visiting the US, very helpful.
The problem I find with some supermarkets in the UK is that they employ people to put items on the shelves only to find that other employees are taking them off to make up the bags for those who order online. It’s sheer madness surely it should come from a central distribution warehouse. That’s why the UK shelves always look half empty all the time with minimal choice.
Thank you both for sharing your shopping experiences and the hints and tips, thus saving valuable time for those flying out on holiday.

I didn't even know there was a Aldi in Orlando, looks different to my local here in Leeds. BTW Laura's hair during the Aldi visit is beautiful, it really suits her.
Great videos, can't wait for your next holiday to Orlando, I'm hoping to go to Disneyland California next year.

I've just watched this blog and can't beleive that you managed to get Laura round Aldis without buying anything from the middle! No orthopedic dog bed, straw baskets or even hooks to hang things on! Wait a minute, she didn't sneak out with the odd laundry basket or two did she? 🤣🤣

Back in 2013, the pound was worth $1.55 USD. In December, it was $1.60. I thought the exchange rate back then was terrible. (I lived in London, England, for a time for a study abroad problem).
Jeez! If the exchange rate to a dollar is $1.10 now, then it is a great time to travel to the UK.

You have discovered the secret to Walmart's success. When you need to buy something odd and specific, let's say a certain herb or ingredient, you can try going to Aldi first only to find out they don't carry it. After a while, you get sick of going to other stores only to find you have to go to Walmart anyway, so people just go to Walmart to begin with.
