Before her, I've always thought Tia, is one of the best rnb singer in Chinese pop, who didn't spend time or grew up in the west. I think even after seeing ShanYiChun, I never really thought of her as an rnb singer, because my idea of rnb singer isn't just the riffs and runs but still those 90s rnb. And youre right, now that you mention it she does the riffs and run more naturally, like she's so at ease and not a singer trying to sing and rnb song. She kind of reminds me of SandyLam too though, I forget which performance it is, but I was listening to one of her performance where she did a cover of sandy's song, and I thought it was Sandy herself singing it.
Sandy is probably one of the best female singer in Chinese pop, I mean in the way that how we like our singers in Chinese pop. I mean someone like Jacky Cheung is like the standard of Chinese pop, that just about everyone likes, and what we like to here in Chinese pop, Sandy does it best, and she's able to do it with just about any song she covers.
Ever since that Eric chou cover she did on the voice, she was clearly the up and comer in Chinese pop. So young, but so soulful and mature in her singing, a really rare talent really.
I just want to mention, another thing, since the topic of people apparently demanding you to "do your homework" seems to be mentioned in multiple videos you posted recently. Those question that rozette asks, like the ShanYiChun's influences to her singing etc. That's the kind of question that would the nice if one of you at behind the camera could answer her. There would be no point throwing it back to the viewer and saying if you can google it then the google might as well do it themselves. Because people are here for rozettes review, the chemistry you guys have, but also rosette's reaction, thoughts and opinion.
I'm sure if you are live streaming one of the viewer would give the answer soon enough, but since it's not, the viewer can rely only on one of you to give rozette the answer. I'm sure the viewers wants to know how she feels about who ShanYiChun's influences are. I mean it has nothing to do with reviewing and breaking down vocal technique, but it's just part of the fun seeing rozette someone who has such a different cultural background react to that info. I mean the interesting is I don't think ShanYiChun, has been to the west or influenced much by western music. It just reminds me of Tia, and why I've always been impressed by her doing rnb.
Someone like David Tao and Leehom does rnb pretty well, but they had the privilege of being exposed to way more rnb and its culture than someone who's born and raised in china, who I think might not even speak English. Usually even if they knew some rnb artists, it just one of those genre where it's not that easy for a singer who's not really exposed to the culture to just pick up.

好厉害，一听就拿单依纯和TIA比，单依纯就是非常喜欢TIA.我自己非常非常喜欢单依纯，她有得天独厚的音乐天赋，今天她唱流行当然是我们的一种福气能够听到她经常唱歌。但她如果小时候能够学习古典，我觉得她应该可以唱更厉害的爵士乐。我也总觉得她的音乐天赋如果从小学管乐，长笛或单簧管，一定是一流的演奏家。总是就是她的音乐能量，对比今天很多华语女歌手完全是另一个级别的。

There is another version of 三人游 titled 《一人留》, which has the same melody but different lyrics. The former, however, is probably more well known due to the popularity of Khalil Fong.
Lyrics of 《一人留》 were penned by its singer, Sing Chew 石欣卉 (Shi Xin Hui), a Malaysian who joined the showbiz through a singing competition in Singapore, and went on to have a few albums with, perhaps, moderate success. Find her so underrated~ Anyway, she has moved to Sweden after getting married to a Swedish man. Wishing her much happiness. After all, competition in the entertainment industry has always been keen and a career in the showbiz is not everything and she could also showcase her talent and passion elsewhere through other methods etc.
That said, I am wondering if the channel might want to review her work(s) some time. 😅

这就是大陆音乐人现状大部分人都要稳定，在一个框里做最大的努力，大陆对R&B接受度没有想象的那么高，大众就是喜欢这种声音，所以会有一个有趣的现象，用纯R&B的配置做纯POP的作品，而且大陆的竞争极大，手段也很下作，艺人可能也不敢承担失误的后果，这种环境会让有天赋的孩子变成流行歌手而不是艺术家，也有可能这些孩子本来就想成为流行歌手，饭都吃不饱，还谈什么音乐梦
個人覺得華語圈都不喜歡太浮誇高難度的歌😢
@@harweiz 原因之一啦，这个和文化之类的东西有很大关系，还有一件事，西方的音乐唱法对于华人来说生理上就是门槛，华人要唱需要很大的努力，不合性价比，没人做也正常，所以才有这种畸形产物，土不土，洋不洋，大陆也在探索自己的赛道，结果就出来一堆狗屁不通古风歌

No lips syncing from her. Most of her performance is with live band on stage and audience . Especially her recent concerts where some of the songs sang together with her audience. I don't who you spoke to at the background accent sound like a Chinese man. Get him to chk out on her during the finals of the Sing China Contest on 21st Nov 2020 where she sang at the best nest stadium live and won. Many people people don't understand why her singing is so good. Just look at the context of the songs and see how she express her soul in the songs. One judge even express that she is singing like an old soul in a young body. For the sake of competition she has to do that way in order to win the competition. But her talent is really in R&B. Looks she is till very young.

How she will be very very famous one day is not because of your voice control but more on the soul singing that bring the emotion to the songs. Pardon me for being too frank. Yes you may be a fantastic singing coach with a fantastic voice but what I personally feel how you deliver the emotions msg of the song to me is very important and not soo much of the high and difficult pitches or whatever your trained or inate voice quality you have. Go and listen to her Cantonese song live on stage with Sally yeh and hubby David lam. She is simply too good and underated. May be she is still young. Sorry for being so long winded.

內地許多評論許多都會拿單依純和黃霄雲比較，兩邊各有擁護者，喜歡黃霄雲的主要論點是黃的天賦和技巧都勝過單，黃是科班出身，海豚音信手捻來，樂理和音準超強，這點單的擁護者也不否認，但主打單唱商高，隨便唱首別人的歌都會變成自己的歌，且音色好，唱歌自帶混響，清唱比有伴奏還好聽。從抖音粉絲數和觀看數就知道，單遠比黃受歡迎。
我個人認為老師點評一針見血，就是因為單是個內地少見的純R&B歌手，她的專輯每首都是R&B，個人音色加上R&B的特色，讓她自帶混響的唱腔夠讓人討喜。
其實單依純錄音綜時，她的助理都會錄下在節目撥出後放到網上，去年在劇好聽的歌播出時在抖音看到飯拍版，就覺得飯拍版比播出版好聽多了。或許多點評飯拍版會好些，而且最近單幾乎每週都上內地的音樂節，YT上粉絲飯拍版本多的是，建議直接評飯拍版吧！不然老評這些修音版也沒太多意思。

@@BruceMilpitas 應該是相對而言，單依純到高三才學著看五線譜，進浙音後才由王滔帶著從頭學起，王滔有說單依純天賦太好，但該學的基礎樂理和發聲方式還是得學，而黃霄雲從高中就就讀中國音樂學院附中，再到中央音樂學院聲樂歌劇戲畢業，基本上專業背景強過單依純太多。

單依純缺的是完整［系統性］學習。而黃霄雲家境優渥得多(父母親之一是教授？音樂系？)，黃的基礎樂理知識聲樂訓練會更強。例如肯定能彈鋼琴，十級是基本，可是鋼琴十級的，中國得有幾十萬個，而單依純應當差的多。專業背景能贏過單依純的人，太多了。又如何呢？荷蘭達人秀Amira Willighagen 才十幾歲就比黃霄雲單依純強太多了，聽唱片自學而已，後來［系統性］學歌劇、唱歌劇去了。
黃霄雲倚仗的還是特出的天賦機能(還有努力)，但問題是［難能］而［不可貴］，［厲害］但［不美］。我喜歡她唱的左手指月，每每期待著去聽他其他表演，但每首都忍不住ㄚㄚㄚ的來一段美聲是怎麼回事？他唱的很［類］似我聽得很［累］。
