Last trip to see my fiancee I stayed at Fields residence and used to love sitting on the balcony and watching incoming traffic for Runway 06. You are not far from me in Vancouver. I am in Montana. Was in Seattle yesterday for the opening day of Mariners season. Nice videos. I should try business class on Philippines Airlines from Vancouver.

Hey young man I've enjoyed your flying videos for a while now , even before you went to Canada . And I just watched this one and I gotta say I know exactly what you mean when you said you hate goodbyes . I was in Cabanatuan for a month with my wife , she lives there , and when I left it was the hardest thing in the world to do . Seeing her cry made me want to cry also . I'm going back there soon but it's never soon enough . Take care of yourself young man , you have a great future ahead of you . Air flow over the wing travels faster than air flow below wing creating lift. The Airfoil of the wing which results in Lift as air passes over and under the Airfoil (wing). It is the pressure difference and the Airfoil of the wing which creates the lift.

The wings of an aircraft are designed in such a way that as it travels with great velocity, the airflow above the wing gets deflected to an upward direction as opposed to the airflow below the wing which cause an upward pressure. Therefore, the net force acting on the wing is upward due to the greater pressure below the wing caused by the airflow as the wing travels at a high velocity. I’m not really sure if this is how it works tho, just an inference based on some lessons on kinematics I took in my general physics class.

Nice video! It looks like we flew the same newer plane last month as PR127 (JFK-YVR-MNL). My son did the review. NAIA 2 needs restos btw. We skipped lunch outside thinking it was like Terminal 3 and only found a few food stalls inside. Either way, last chance at Filipino Siopao/Siomai so it wasn't bad. Yum.

I flew on RP-C7774 to BKK from MNL in Jan 2016. Your lucky fly on brand new B77W and pity no window seat. Good takeoff and saap meals
PAL always had a love for GE products when it came to engines. In the past they used them exclusively on their 747 aircraft.

777 smooth ride going back January 2019 I'm from Vancouver. Like you're vlogs from Day 1my third trip. Love the tropicals.

You gotta do it to ensure you have the best seat.. then you gotta call back and ask again.. then you gotta call back and ask again. Maybe the fourth time I can correlate two answers and make the best selection.

first thing, always check seatguru, they show you which seats have no window, which seats have a window and what not. Second thing, glad the flight was not downgraded to the A340.

if you book online you have an option to choose your seats
PAL should really have air con in the air bridge and upgrade the terminal hey? Flew on PR213 (A321N) and since it’s single aisle, boarding took forever and you had to stand and wait in the air bridge in what felt like a sauna. Grabe, init. But it’s great to see PAL upgrading the fleet. Sana Lang they flew the 777 back to SYD every now and then
A question, have all 777’s been refurbished like this. For example, has the 777 that PAL uses on the MNL-London flights been refurbished?

Just found out that PAL will upgrade all a330s to tri class and they will also refurbish the old 777 to the new cabin. So PALs a350s will take over the old 777 routes for the moment and after they refurbish the 777s the a350s can go on it’s other routes.

I always loved the unique start up sound of the GE90 engines. Used to ride 777 from MNL-ICN then A380 to NYC via Korean Air.

Dude! How lucky is the Vancouver leg for having the B777! London leg on the other hand is miserable! We get the old A340, limited leg space and uncomfortable 13 hr flight! On top of that they only give iPads for entertainment. I remember when they used to dispatch the B777 to London when they started and it was a good flight. I guess I will have to wait for PAL's A350 for me to fly with them again.

+Ren 54 probably one of the passengers who got upgraded. Before boarding they called a handful of passengers and handed them a new boarding pass, assuming it's an upgrade. This was a full flight :)
