Surprise Weak Thunderstorm Over Las Vegas April 26, 2024

A quick developing, unexpected thunderstorm cell developed over Las Vegas to my northwest. The storm was weak and I caught a lightning strike at the 0:29 second mark in the video. First time seeing lightning activity since October 1st!

I didn’t see any lightning myself but possibly a solid storm over the strip from my house pov!

Yeah I wasn’t aware there was lightning activity until a friend of mine told me so I saw the thick rain shaft and at first I didn’t see anything and once I began to record, that’s when I was able to capture that one lightning discharge!
