Jennifer Beals scored the lead role in a pilot for the TNT show, Proof, described as a "supernatural medical drama."
The show, executive-produced by former TNT star Kyra Sedgwick, will focus on the life of surgeon Dr. Tyler. She's a born skeptic, but will start investigating supernatural cases -- hauntings, reincarnations -- after the death of her teenage son.
