Lovey sunshine. Glad the sheep were cooperative 😂
Lovely to see the birds and animals enjoying the sun.
Very cooperative in poop. I suspect less so when I need to round them up for vaccinations.
6:08 we have wild flocks of peach faced love birds in my neighborhood. Our climate here in sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵 is very similar to their native Africa. They prefer to nest in our native woodpecker holes and survive in the metropolitan area because of backyard feeders. It's such a joy to hear their calls and see a wash of green as they feed on my lawn. One year there must have been 50 or more. 💖🌞🌵😷
That's wonderful! They're such pretty and intelligent birds.
@@BrimwoodFarm, and very social. I've seen several small groups of 5 or 6 this year. But never just one by its self. 💖🌞🌵😷
😂 I have to agree! You looked100% better.
Thanks!
Yes the sun and blue skies make all the difference!
Oh, it SO does!
7:01 consider placing the water barrel such that it will weigh down the one side of the shed so it will harder to blow over. You might have to add another piece of gutter pipe. And be sure the barrel is full during the windy season.
I'm thinking the side where the gutter was broken, was face down? So you'd want to place the barrel opposite that, on the tall side? I know your porch is small but it might make the difference that you need to keep it from blowing over. 💖🌞🌵😷
It might help. The barrel was full but it wasn't on the platform so obviously it's weight wouldn't have helped weigh stuff down. It was very out of character wind!
@@BrimwoodFarm , we get the sudden high winds here too. Micro burst they call them here... Knocked down my neighbor's block wall (it wasn't put up to withstand hurricane winds). But she's got a heavier fence now. 💖🌞🌵😷
Hi Geoff. The service you use sounds great. We currently use a lab via our local vet and it costs a fortune! We will look at this.
You have ice at last to make it easier underfoot. We have had sleet, ice and very high winds. Best. Jacob and Johnny.
I was using my vets lab too and it was so expensive! This is much simpler and cheaper.
Yes, just the same as us. We'll give it a go. Thanks. Johnny and Jacob.@@BrimwoodFarm
Haven't seen the other pheasant in a while, did they migrate to the city? 💖🌞🌵😷
They're still here. Can just be hard to get footage off as they're constantly on the move!
Are you not having to lock up your birds this winter? Also, with your hide. knock in a couple of star posts in up against the sides of it, secure the hide to the posts with heavy gauge wire, like coat hanger wire. We did that with our glass house and it works a treat to hold it down. Oh. star posts are what we Australians call those three sides metal fence posts. Not sure what you all them.
No! We've gotten away with it so far; instead of avian flu we have a blue-tongue (cattle and sheep) outbreak this year. Luckily further south than me. I had read somewhere that some of the wild birds had begun to build immunity to the avian flu and so far, so good! Phew.
Oh, and great idea about the posts! I can see that working very well.
