Tom Hardy is one of those rare actors endowed with ability to act vulnerable, show deep and disturbing emotions, without saying a word.

Tom is underatted, this guy can play any role exceptionally well

Ok
Why wouldnt they make a movie about his rise to power and how he took over Chicago, instead they show him as a out of his mind old man smh
That's the way I felt when half way through it 😅 but yeah a movie about his rise to power would be much better, then him acting out of his mind 😅
because that's already been done. The Untouchables? hell's bells.
Because Boardwalk Empire exists

You alright , God bless you ! :)) By the way Tom Hardy`s voice in this movie is exactly like Al Capone`s , De Niro did not sound like Al Capone, just amazing act. Stephen Graham played a full Al Capone version from thug to soldier and then captain of Torrio and then Boss, and amazing acting, better then De Niro on this one. But " you's" with " you's" head to deep into your arse
I watch this last night...I can understand why lots of people say it's slow and has no plot ...but the movie is exactly what they said it is..the last chapter of Capones life...all by himself ..out of commission and being haunted by his past before he dies..very simple movie ..you have to pay attention that you are seeing the movie through the eyes of Capone..
Where can I watch it?

If you've seen Legend, you know this is gunna be some fine wine acting.
Loy Landar You‘re goddamn right💪🏼
Overdone, cartoonish, stereotyped, clichéd acting you mean? Yeah, Can tell from this trailer it will be just as poorly done.
Legend wasnt that good at all, yeah doesn't even resemble Capone and the simple fact that he was dying is the only reason he wasnt in prison they released him in 1939, and to be honest he was nothing compared to the syndicate ran by Luciano and lansky
Loy Landar you really should consider your definition of “good acting” if you saw this trailer and thought Tom Hardy’s performance will be great

Patrick Guerrisi tom is european by blood himself .
To clear things up Al Capone looks darker in his pictures, which leads to people thinking he had a darker complexion, but this is only due to the period where pictures were taken in black and white.
Al Capone actually had brown hair, blue eyes and light skin, this is why something easily missed. It's like other historical figures such as Adolf Hitler, where people erroneously think he had dark hair and brown eyes due to the black and white pictures, but again he had light brown hair and blue eyes.
I recommend people always try find color images instead, which makes it easier to see how historical figures actually looked.

Big fan of Tom Hardy. Always found Al Capone fascinating. How could you go wrong here? Oh, let’s show him at the height of his syphilis when his mind is gone. 🤦🏻♂️
I actually think that's an interesting idea. This was a point where the guy was losing his mind and his whole life was haunting him before death. It's actually intriguing. The execution of the story could've been better though.
That was the point. That the guy was a thug, with his fucked up lifestyle doing him at the end.
