Gon's transformation is probably the best and most terrifying example of someone transcending the limits, I am still waiting for an anime character to trump that.
Ichigo final getsuga tenshou easily beats that. Or full hollow form, take your pick.
Ichigo Kurosaki’s Vasto Lorde form was absolutely terrifying but also dangerously powerful at the same time.
‘Bleach’ manga creator Tite Kubo did a very good job on that back in the day.

Kaneki snapping and embracing his ghoal side will forever be the prime anime character going beast mode, the complete shift in personality sells it for me.
I’m surprised that General Bradley from FMA brotherhood wasn’t mentioned. My god he went all out when he killed his own soldiers.
Same with Meliodas violating Drole and Gloxiana. Sure he got murked after your traditional Anime gangbang but the captain didn’t go out sad
Too old. This list suffers from an extreme case of recency bias. Otherwise we'd probably see more characters like Sho Fukamachi from The Guyver, Shinji from Evangelion, and Alucard from Hellsing Ultimate. Among others.

I'm happy the juggernaut drive finally made it on one of these lists, but I was really hoping to see Tatsumi's first and/or last Incursio activation. That scene always pumps me up while simulatiously giving me chills

That's true, it looked like Piccolo was dead, I mean Cell killed A16 in front of Gohan, that's what triggered him into super saiyan 2 and for Piccolo, it's his beast form.
Hellsing - Alucard releasing restraint level 0 deserves a mention
Gut's is on these lists a lot but I don't know what is more beastly than a guy with no powers going up against basically hell.
The one lost about characters going berserk and they literally leave the show/manga out literally called berserk.
Gon’s rage mode was legit the most painful yet satisfying transformation in anime for me. Pure hearts can have pure rage.
I know, he gave up everything he stood for just to be strong enough to defeat Pitou.

Beast Gohan from ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ = Awesome.
Vasto Lorde Ichigo Kurosaki = Terrifying but freaking badass.
Nezuko’s demonic form = 100% IMPRESSIVE.

Regarding High School DxD, besides so many of fan services, the voice of Isei' gear saying "Boosto!" always playing inside of my mind. When people discussed about that anime, I always remembered that voice. So hillarious.

For Digimon, I object; Gammamon's first transformation into Gulusgammamon was way more intense. A lovable child experiencing the death of a close friend, losing all senses, and transforming into a literal demon that absolutely murders the killer? The only happy end here is that Gulus got bored and took a nap. He would've killed everyone if not for that.
For Killing Bites, how in the world did you butcher Hitomi's name? Ratel, not Rattle. Very clear difference in words; one's the animal with the biggest balls in the animal kingdom, and the other's a baby's toy. For shame, doing Hitomi dirty like that.
If only Sulong carrot fought against Katakuri...that would've been dope

When InuYash turns into a full fledged demon is "InuYasha's Soul, Devoured," he could't remember anything, he slaughtered over 70 humans and it took Sesshomaru, InuYasha's older brother who hate his guts, to slap some sense into InuYash because his friends couldn't do it.

The Silver wolf Appears was just an excuse to turn the Godzilla vs King Ghidorah fight into a fluffy wolf battle for those who didnt like lizards.
A bit of recency bias on the Gohan transformation, but I still really liked that it was on the list cause it was hella cool

Watching this, I had hoped there would be an entry for Naruto. Maybe when Rock Lee goes super saiyan on Gaara, or any of the Naruto-Nine Tails transformations. But having the entry fall to Guy was actually really fucking awesome, and I wholeheartedly approve.

I agree, and he was so devesated and disgusted by what he had done too. He slaughtered many humans and it took Sesshomaru to knock some sense into him because Kagome couldn't do it.

It would have been cool if they included any scene where EVA Unit 01 went berserk in either Neon Genesis Evangelion or the Rebuild of Evangelion films. I'd especially note EVA 01's battle with Zeruel in Neon Genesis or the remade battle in Evangelion 2.0.: You Can (Not) Advance; the theme in the scene was epic, and the battle was especial brutal in Neon Genesis Evangelion when Unit 01 went berserk.
I’ll never forget how Gohan turned into a literal beast or how Nezuko manhandled Daki. XD
These characters going beast mode were intense! I'm glad the guy in the rooftop was saved in number 20. The ladies on this list look nice until they go beast mode. I feel sorry for the mom in number 13. At least, the children are okay. I'm also glad that the real Lucario saved Pikachu. I thought the other Lucario was the real one.

I understand why levi vs beast titan is the one on the list that was legendary! Still my best aot episode of all time. Altho, his fight with the titan in no regrets equals that one with beast titan, if not more.

Sorry, say what you want but Nezuko's beast mode wasn't that great, she was kinda there. Her fighting Daki didn't even matter but stall some time. Gohan's Beast Mode was better than that. Also since yall left it out, Ichigo's "Beast Mode" was literally his Hollow side saving his life, or Ichigo would have died. And if we are including Levi destroying the Beast Titan scene, where is Mustang's scene against Envy from FMAB?
