Tae is a story teller, all his MV are worth it cos it’s gonna arrive at something compelling. Vocals was top notch, song excellent,eveything just perfect. I absolutely loved it.

to me it seems to be about long-term friends who decide to try dating. So the back ground showing all the lovey dovey people show the beginning of the relationship and then the car hitting V signals the end of the friendship and the beginning of the relationship but the background then shows what can happen when two people who have been friends for so long, get into a relationship and then it doesn't work out and therefore not only do you lose your partner but you also lose your friend. I think its about how its hard to be friends for so long and then try to date because if it doesn't work out then you have lost that long term friendship.
Just to compliment this idea, I think that in the second time he died, he seemed happy because he at least tried to be more than friends, but when that ended too, he just realized that in the end he only has himself 🤔🤷🏻♀️

I think the man on the bus behind him represents V as an old man, and the woman you can’t see is blocked by V’s head is the representation of the one stuck in his head. That couple is V’s hope for himself and his one true love. It’s the only reason I can think of why we can’t see her through most of the bus scenes. (I’ve watched the mv way too much) lol

One reactor said that he thinks the death scene symbolises the end of friendship in either scenario of the MV.
He is happier/smiling in the second death scene because the friendship died as they became lovers, unlike in the first case. In the first case, friendship died because his feelings have turned to love but they did not become lovers.
The final part shows that in the end yourself is your own friend. And his smile is for the Army who he has kept guessing and thinking and theorizing about the plot and meaning or message of his MV. He just loves to give us something to think about. Love this!

For me, this mv shows how idols or celebrities are seen when they are in a relationship, where the supposed "fans" consider themselves the owners of their lives, where everyone around them can have relationships with whoever they want without being judged or criticized, however, when your idol or something similar does it, it is seen as something bad, in short... hypocrisy on the part of the crazy "fans" who take away an idol's freedom to be happy in the way they see fit... the end I believe which shows V making the decision that he will do what he thinks is best regardless of judgments... love yourself.
