He outperformed every player in the first half (Camavinga, Ceballos, Joselu, Brahim) of course is a 4th division team but he waas the best, its early to compare but you can see him succeding. Put him with Valverde, Kroos, Bellingham and Vinicius and enjoy
One of the first things Carlo said was how happy he was with Arda's impetus. He always tries that attacking pass. He's always trying to make it a counter and never afraid to lose or to miss it. That's exactly Ozil's game, so glad we signed him.
Also important to say, he got into physical encounters with no fear, coming from 6 months of constant injures, you gotta be tough mentally to show your skillset like that after that nightmare.

Remember that aside from him playing well and having skill, for him to START on his debut and have or show zero nervous and even ask for a free kick and played well. That’s a fantastic start. Looking forward for his fitness and development. Our core is strong for next 10 years.

It takes a special boy to make the leap to madrid with little experience behind him. I'm hoping for his sake he can build on today's/yesterday's performance and have a long successful career at madrid and he doesn't end up going on loan several times before finding a home like odegaard. The boy looks like he could be special. Some of his touches were zizou like, and he moved so elegantly like messi, had the vision of xavi or ineista. Turky have a true baller with arda guler that any country would be proud to have representing them. A star in the making, I have been waiting for his debut since his signing , although his injury defers him to do so, its worth waiting and watch him playing
I have heard a quote i think its from cruyff “football is simple but playing simple football is the most difficult ”
if you watch him closely, you will notice that he always raises his head up for a moment before passing the ball. lob, cross, whatever, he never passes the ball without checking his target first and hardly ever misses. that is simply amazing. it is as if he is making all the calculations in his head to pinpoint where to deliver the ball at a certain speed.
Kid is smooth as silk! He took the ball from a teammate to take that free kick that hit the post. He wants the ball and he pressure!

Arda Guler after forever finally made his Real Madrid debut and for the most parts of the game he did look a little rusty since he hasn’t played for months, he actually looked good during the game and that’s a fair assessment on him. He had some neat touches he hit the woodwork and he played well for the time that he was on the pitch and Real Madrid fans finally got a glimpse of what this kid can do. It was great that he started the game and performed and in the coming games it’s important for him to get minutes to build his fitness and get continuity because the prospect of seeing him on the field at the same time as Jude Bellingham Vinicius Junior Rodrygo and others look great and as talented as he is on this team he has to earn his minutes and prove to Carlo Ancelotti that he can sustain his fitness for a long period of time. Getting minutes is good for his development and his growth and he just has to avoid any further injuries at Real Madrid otherwise this just won’t work as he just played his first ever game for them today and I wonder how long he’ll stay fit as you cannot go from getting a game to back in Hospital FC.

Before today, I didn't regard his highlights showing his defence splitting passes but yesterday night, I saw it and I was like GREAT! We've got Ozil back. If he can fully adapt to RW and continues to grow, we might be seeing an Ozil/Di Maria hybrid. My only worry is Ancelotti.
