One thing worth mentioning is that BK red stars can put his damage high enough that he may get his charge wiped and get safeguard up early, making him incredibly effective in arena (especially with doom). It doesnt even always need higher damage than apoc or full diamonds (although i suppose you might as well get 3d) Will ultimus' pre taunt killing power change that sometime? Will the meta change from all these powerful new paywalled characters? Idk. But at the moment BK is a beast if you get him beyond a certain point and want to just sit at the top of arena chilling with all the other big BK guys because no one wants to fight a big BK with safeguard and a doom that will wipe out your team before it even gets through BK
While I agree on your point about BK Red Stars, the arena meta shifts somewhat regularly or new meta characters come in to adjust this. BK is still in my top 5 picks though, and worth upgrading for other game modes too, just depends on whether you buy RTA passes in a lot of instances for DPCs.
We need more Dark Promos! I don't get why they're making them so hard to get now. I barely have any of them at 7 red now. Just 3 of them. I'm hoarding them till Old Man logan red starts come out.
After that I would suggest: any characters you use for arena. Arena is a very important part of the game for you to stay in the hunt for new character releases.💯
Ive already seen Spiderman India in the shop over the last couple days. Got lucky on some of those Temporal dimension diamond orbs too. 1 Peter B, and 2 diamonds on Sasquatch and Pandapool.
@@Boilon yeah, unfortunately i will still be taking Doom as he is already close to G19. only new toon that really changed on my planner was Ares and not taking nightclawer. makes it possible for me to bring in Morgan faster over Nova. Morgan for me personally because i got 3 diamonds on her and just a favorite. Still looking forward to the rework news and what they will do to our current meta.
To be fair I am pretty frugal. And I did mention I have had some good orb luck, which means ive not had to spend them on characters I would have done with my credits.
I wish I could get back into Diamond in CC to get some Diamonds. I have 500 DPS, just got SuS to 6 reds. I have no other DPC characters higher than 5 reds except a couple horseman. There is not a "FTP income" of these to even matter. Except for people who have been playing on the high end for the entirety of Dark Promo Credits being in the game, it is not really a currency that matters. I am sitting on 11k Dark promo diamonds btw.
GGC I think is a no, the reason why if you build sup6/s6 and using them on cc and war you will notice, his not actually the one doing the damage his actually the one that controls the fight, the damage is coming from if it's war it's definitely vulture, vulture is the damage of the team, if it's CC his cc skills are enough to carry him and kravens bleed and spider slayers damage are a big factor for sup6 victory in CC, so even if I don't have a 7red ggc I can mix and match the team to compensate for that, since as a team sup6/s6 is so flexible.
New people should think about Apoc like Doom .... If he is too big he doesn't get pushed. I have been having a lot of luck in Areas with an underdog Apoc cause he gets pushed on the second attack.
i would suggest not to buy red stars or diamonds for ultimus for the time being, coz like you said in the video, reworked characters might probably get an event or something that gives out free red stars or diamonds
Advice from an above mid game player: make all raid characters 2 diamonds. The way Raids are on higher difficulty you have to have diamonds. Even gear 18 alone is not strong enough.

Yet as a F2P I've got a decision between 6 rs Skrull or 7rs BK. Why would I waste my resources on character that doesnt have a team yet? When I can beef up one of the meta characters now?
Here's what I do if you are someone like me who have all reds. Always put 1 diamond on Arena, Raid, War and CC toons that you use daily. Diamond 2 is for key toons that have potential to go to D3 for your account later. These toons are Kang, Vahl, Nightclawer, Gambit, Ikaris and Robbie. Diamond 3 toons you want 100% are Robbie, Kang and Nightclawer. Vahl is worth it too but she honestly sucks and value is terrible for her. I just D3 her because of DDs and War Defense. My next D3 is actually Kang then maybe Ikaris.
Kestrel is worth it too, not sure why you didn't mention her (I would prioritize her over Kang) she's part of the raid team while Kang is just crucible and not as important, and she has great plug and play value
@@connorburnett4867 her value is not that great and is only worth a D1/D2. she will die in DD7 very fast as well but it best to build her anyway. she will eventually fall off and she has no purpose anywhere else other than some simple cc wins against IW or if you want to counter Quick Silver or Doom on defense. I personally put a D1 on her and she still does what i want her to do. G19 eventually when she gets there but she low priority over GGC and even Iron Patriot
my biggest regret in this game is dumping dark diamonds into ultron, ultimus, and doom - wasnt sure how quickly wed gain them over time so just spent them bc I had them and took them all to 3 diamond. Fortunate they are re-working ultimus finally

Did they not send people the Ultimus rewards in an inbox after that happened? I would maybe do a support ticket I think... if you Discord me I could possibly follow-up with the CMs. Everyone should have the 7Y 4R if you beat DD3 or are past this.

Ultimus is Cheap and yes i think he worth it for Diamond 3 but his G19 is ridiculously expensive. he might be good for a second DD7 run.
G19 is expensive, but i think replaces Doom because a lot of peoples reasons for Doom was basically for that last node, which is no longer an issue.
