Inside he's the sweetest little guy, but the second a new person comes in or I take him outside he's a totally different dog. Our vet has put him on anti anxiety medication and that just makes him sleepy. I want him to have a happy life here with us. He's a rescue dog, so we have no idea what he's been through. He's barely a year old too, and he's already had three different owners who couldn't take his behavior. I feel so bad for him, and I won't give up on him. I'm his human Mommie, and I love him. This video has given me sound advice so I can work with him better. Thank you so much Cesar!

They only see each other in passing usually in the hallway so my dog is a little scared an sometimes snips at him to tell to back off. Well after this weekend they're best friends. You spend your days with your sons and now have them learning your ways with this invaluable skill to help the entire world of dogs and owners. Together with your family is just nothing better. Your life how you have had a vision and now every step of the way you’ve executed it and continue to grow and develop, everything you have done/gone through/and going is such an inspiration. I’m so happy you are where you are now in your life. God bless you Cesar Milan 🙏🙏🌺🇨🇦🌺🙏🙏 God bless you family as well. Your son is such a kind young man from what I’ve watched him on your channel. Truly enjoy watching him learn and the episodes that I get to see clips of you teaching him. I learn a lot from watching people/your son maybe not do things exactly as you would like or you have a better way to do things and you show YOUR way, and seeing that is what I really learn from. Because your son naturally knows a lot more then the average person just absorbing you over the years as he grew up (just like a child of a farmer knows more then a city person with a patio garden) so watching your son do thing right, but you instruct how to do it better and Your way is such a benefit to me. Like you say often, ‘it’s another level of learning/case’. Your kindness is inspiring. Thank you so much 🙏

    I’ve noticed something over the years of watching you, when the owners don’t get the command the second they request it they throw their arms up in the air and give up. Patience people, this is like having someone who speaks a foreign language and demand they understand you.

    Like father like son, they r both handsome, humble & kind 2 help people wit their dog. Love them __ Omg that chihuahua like a mirror of my chihuahua mine : same hairs, same size, same colour, same behaviour. Miss him, my dogs (other is maltese) r in heaven. Chihuahua got soft bones. They r also loyal & stress so easily. Stubborn too. But no matter what my dogs r my world, still now even in my dreams. Keep up the good work.

    I wish Cesar would help me. I've helped save dogs all my life. Never had this problem before... .my two sweetest dogs hate one another and have had bloody fights three times in five years. They injured myself and my husband breaking them up every time they accidently cross paths. They really try to kill each other!!! It's heartbreaking.

      I’m sorry this is happening in your home! What kind of dogs are they? Genders? Did you get them at the same time or was one in the home first? Any ideas on what lead to the first fight, was it the same for the 2nd and 3rd? (I work with/board all types of dogs, and I own and have a special love and focus with pit bulls)

    • @amacuro
      @amacuro Před 2 lety +1

      Sorry to hear. Are they both the same gender? it might be some competitive pack behavior. There are also cases when one of the dogs is terribly insecure and anxious, causing the other dog to correct them with bites, which causes a fight. Dogs give each other corrections with different magnitudes of biting. If they are mildly annoyed, they will mouth without hurting, but increasing levels of annoyance can deliver a painful bite.

    • @bobbiduval7961
      @bobbiduval7961 Před 2 lety +1

      @@amacuro no, different sexes, both fixed both absolute loves but bloody vicious fights last time my hubby has to choke one to get him to let go of other. Female just runs for him and attacks when she gets close to him. They live separate. Only way to keep safe is completely separating. Just that accidentally they get out at same time a few times and then it's on!!!

    7:30 you can immediately see how anxious she is instead of just doing what needs to be done she's showing hesitant behavior weakly pushing them 1 handed cause she's worried if she's doing it right. Then she put the couch in-between her and the dog. She should've just lifted if right off and said "NO." If it was going to force itself to lay down

    At the 8:01 spot in video...the remedy for the "OFF" "OFF" "OFF" "OFF" "OFF", ("OFF" the damn furniture... ) would be when someone comes to door, etc. use "place" and direct them to a specific spot that's marked with a small rug or similar. And that's where they stay when "placed". Comes in very handy and it works.

    Thanks so much for all of your tips Cesar! This is my first time owning a dog (my dog is a AmStaff). She is the sweetest thing ever. Even though she’s 6 months old, she knows majority of the important commands. In addition, she also knows where to stay when I’m away the house, how to greet guests, off leash walk, and more. Once again, thanks so much!
