On the first one you hold the stick,that you push back and forth with,on the side,to where it's flat when you look down on it,that's why it's shaped that way. The curves in it help to create friction quicker also it tightens the paracord.
The very last one seems the easiest to make and prepare, as in easy to make without having to use too much work into making the fire starter, but seems very physically demanding compared to the other ones. Rubbing two sticks together quickly is very demanding, I'll tell you that. ;D
In the 20th Century, we were first suspicious & then amazed that these ancient techniques worked. In the 21th Century, we are even more amazed that these products are made for sale, then bought by someone.

All these fire starter gadgets are really nice, but wouldn't it be smarter to carry a couple of lighters with you instead of all these gadgets. Makes more sense.

All these fire starter gadgets are really nice, but wouldn't it be smarter to carry a couple of lighters with you instead of all these gadgets. Makes more sense.
It is in case all the lighters or any other modern fire tools disappear
what happens when your lighter gets wet. a couple of sticks and a shoe lace later u have fire
